really, audience? laughter? at "the sh*t, the clots, pushing out all the holes..." and really all the grotesque, beautiful parts. very rude. i don't know if it's the performer's fault or the audiences, but laughter was a bit offensive, especially to anybody who has ever given birth.
you do such an amazing part of this monologue. I just auditioned for my school's production and read for this monologue and I hop I can do it justice as you have! soemtimes the girls that do this piece don't know how to engage the audience like you did. I'm truly impressed!
