@StockDC2 you dont need torque at those rpms...the only time u need torque is for the initial push..the launch...and im sure he doesnt launch at 11k rpms.. thats why its better to have a flat torque curve in the low end of the powerband
@supersoni126 But wouldn't you agree that launching and accelerating is the same thing? The only difference is that one is from a stand still and the other is at X speed. Torque is still vital for acceleration.
@StockDC2 no i wouldnt, accelerating from a dig and accelerating from a certain velocity are two very different things...yes acceleration is the same either or... but torque is the initial umph yes from any speed but when your already in that powerband the horsepower is what is needed in order to keep the acceleration going.even 500ft lbs torque isnt going to get a 2000lb car to 150mph, itll get the car to get pushed off the line yea but it takes that 180-190 hp to keep it going to get there
11 second honda. the money u coulda used to build up a honda to do 11 second quarter miles u coulda bought a lot better car and ran 11 stock

If that's a B16, I'm guessing the TQ is around 70, maybe 80 at the wheels at that RPM...

@Chispiolo its probably a spoon 1.6 or 1.8 you have to rev it that high to get high horsepower

@tiger0tank
Or get it bored to 2.0L. A NA K20 with 2.4L can produce up to 320hp. Check out J's Racing Fit for a example.
