If your plane is really elapor you can use any CA, even the cheapest you can find (in my case, 5 tubes for 55 cents).. Works like a charm. If your wing is NOT elapor beware and test on a small piece (and wipe directly with water when it eats your foam) before using!
Anyway, toothpics are not needed at all, just use CA, it will hold perfectly (my last EZ was crushed into fifty+ pieces, used elapor soup and CA to fit together, then rubbed smooth with spoon. Flew like before :)
Just wanted to say thanks for posting this video, it helped me out alot with repairing my EPS redcat racing P-51 that had massive damage to it.Shes almost done but, shes also got a ton of mods on her too.Ill be posting a video of how to on here as well about some repair and some modifications.
This is a cool video to help me out. Any suggestion or idea if I want to tell the airplane apart and put them back to the package for long transportation in case I want to send it overseas?
Never tried on EPO so I'm not sure. However, EPO and Elapor are closely related (as I read on forums) and I would assume it should work. First test somewhere on a not-so-risky part to see it does not melt etc... Good luck
first of all.... thx!!!! the water trick is pretty cool. but i have a question! i broke my art tech eurofighter typhone after a 4 second first flight and now the left cannard is broken and the wings took some serios damage!!! if ´the water trick willwork ?i dont know? what do you think? is it the same material??? thx a lot!!!
I am not sure if your plane is made of the same type of foam as the MPX. You would need to do a test first to see that it does not melt for example. Try it on some extra foam piece if there is one available or test it on a part of the plane where some damage would be the least harmful, should it occur.
Hi - hard to say, it depends on what sort of plane you have and where/how exactly it has been torn apart. If it were my plane (easy star) I would say sure it is fixable this way.
Sure a hairdryer will do the job too. One thing though, that the hairdryer takes much longer to heat the foam up, so if you need quick effect over a larger surface then hot water is still the best option. Think about expanding the complete nose section after some nose-down crashes :)
I have not noticed any difference. Note however, that this is not a high performance plane so what works on this model might not be sufficient for a more advanced, speedier one.
would super glue work?

can you use like a low heat gun or hairdryer for the bash ?
