i dont think the tone of that warlock works well with this song maybe the wood/pickup combo doesnt resonate as well as the jacksons gojira plays or perhaps its youtube still a great seemingly spot on cover. couldnt say for sure if your playing it right or not but your interpretation is good non the less.

I've played and been in contact with some of their mid-high range guitars, and for their price they're a total ripoff. Reason being, they put EMG-HZ pickups in their 800$ guitars (which are total poo for a guitar that price, since they sound like more like static than actual musical notes). Also, they made the guitar out of basswood which is basically particleboard. Other companies would give you Alder for 800$, which is a much higher quality.They mainly sell because of their shape

1) the only $800 BCR i know of with HZs is the Mick Thomspon one, but that was years ago.

2) Jhon Pettrucci uses Basswood, and thats a guy who uses Piezo pickups as well as magnetic

3) the Mockingbird Archtop sells for $599, is mahoganey, AND is neck through. with Rockfield Mafia pickups.

I guess in the end, I think BC Rich's are just poor quality for their price.

@Anubis7169 and for the record, i have played many high end guitars (ibanez LACS, ESP customs, Jackson USA, EB reserve to name a few) and in the end my old 1990s Bronze series Warlock is just the best all around guitar for me. 1 humbucker, a fixed bridge, and a volume knob. Sure, all the fancy Kahlers and Floyds and MIDI and piezos and active pickups are nice, but in terms of sheer resonance-to-weight my warlock can hang with the best.
