I got to feed camels once. lol look up "Feeding Camels! 4/21/10" it was funny/random because they were in a kmart parking lot.

The camel tries to recycle the bottle but then realizes how difficult it is and says hell with this I'll just live with the trash.

Camels dont store water in their hump, they turn excess water/food into a special kind of fat wich is stored in the hump. Later if needed the camel burns the extra fat to survive, if no food or water can be found, this way they can survive up to 15 days. Camels that eat and drink regularly don't have big humps.

Blame popeye for this false myth, when his camel tires down and he stops at the gas station, opens up the hump and pours in water :P

Camels are the lazy animals. He is quite happy and the water jug is an enrichment toy. The "pen" is a fantastic exhibit for him. Well done zoo.
