In The Merry Wives of Windsor, everyone goes to Windsor Great Park at midnight in fancy dress to torment Falstaff. The Page's daughter Ann dresses in white as Queen of all the Fairies, Titania, and her lover Fenton goes as King of the Fairies, Oberon. In these disguises, they elope and are secretly married.
@Kilgorefive you do realize that Fenton comes out as Oberon, Anne as Titania, and then they confess each others love for one another before the party in which Falstaff is made a fool? Nicolai is also a genius.
Are you quite sure that this IS the Merry wives of Windsor?

It is indeed. See my comment below in response to Kilgorefive.

Is this a religion or some kind of play?

It is a scene from the opera by Nicolai based on the play by Shakespeare.

You realize that Titania and Oberon are in "A Midsummers Nights Dream" and not "The Merry Wives of Windsor."
