I have one of these. The camera doesn't work when the clock is plugged into the mains. This means you can't install it and then forget about it until there's an incident. You have to switch it off and recharge it daily. This makes it impractical as a security device.
how do i change the recording mode cause i can only record for 20 minutes at the time for a total of 140 minutes i want to be able to record for the 12 hours thank's
i was just wondering if u found out how to record for more than 20 mins im having the same problem if u did it would be great i really need to find something out please help
I got one of those too It actually works unfortunately I live in a rooming house and money one time went missing out of my room so I bought one of these for when I go to work and leave I don't trust any of these losers/freeloaders at home
Does this come in an unmarked box? I don't want my housemates to see that I'm buying a spy camera so when the package comes and if one of them opens it does the box say "spy camera"?
what model do you have? There are a lot of different models. Some hold a charge for about 3-4 hours and then some like yours can hold a charge and continous record for up to 12 hours with the right mirco sd card.
Really if the battery is down it stops filming but the clock goes on? I thought that the clock would stop too. Can you please confirm? I would like to buy it.
Do you have a Win 7 driver to make it work as a webcam? Also, to set the time they included writetime app on the disk but again, it requires the driver to work.
I bought one of these after watching your review and it has a time/date stamp on the recording. It is 3 years off! Do you know how to change the date and/or turn the date stamp off? Thank you
@EHudson80 im also looking for the answer to that question, ive asked it on another post, if you find out can you let me know and i will do the same.thanks.
@jasonemperor i can help, firstly it doesnt take photo thats just a translation error, when you press the photo button the blue light will flash once,it is now recording and set for motion detection ,it stops after about three minutes and then comes on when it senses something so you will always have the first vid of you walking out the room, when it senses again it will record and then stop after not seeing anything for three minutes, hope im making sense and this answers your question.
@jakethefreak1 Thanks for that. I had bought one from HK for £19.99, lasted about 2 weeks before it went faulty (wouldn`t record anything) so had to return it and they said they will send a replacement. Worked great for the first 2 weeks though, well worth the price you pay.
@jakethefreak1 Well on the instuction manual it came with, it just says create a new txt file with the correct date, year and time and copy & paste it into the media folder on the PC - but i didn`t actually try it as i wasn`t bothered by it, but will probably try it out when they send a new one.
hmmmm well Sherlock Holmes not trying to sound like a dick but why dont u mess with it and test it out couple times to find what works and what does what..
@TEAMPOLIZEIM5 Well "Watson" if you had noticed, the comment was made over a year ago so obviously tried it out when it arrived. The comment was made "Prior" to receiving the device as the seller had sent the instructions first via an email so was wondering back then if anyone had any proper instructions or if anyone had already tried it out... -_>

you have to recharge them everyday. Why don't they make one with apermanent cord that plugs into the wall.

What is a batree?
Cool clock/camera, if the results are worth keeping.
This dude sounds like HAL, from Space Odyssey.
