He is a great photographer...... Unfortunately, singing is not a strong point. I guess it paid the bills. I once told someone I would drive a condom car around the NASCAR track if it paid well.
Those of us who are Nimoy addicts already knew that Spock's got himself a real gritty, wrong-side-of-the-tracks side. We know about all of the pain he's pumped while that big wheel kept on toinin'.
I'm sure glad Leonard's singing career didn't take off... he may never have landed the Spock part and Star Trek would not be the same. I know it was a tough decision he had to make, having so much talent like he does.
My God. Thank you for posting that, I've wanted to be able to projectile vomit like Linda Blaire in The Exorcist for so many years but could never manage to pull it off before. Now, thanks to you, there is one less item on my bucket list. Respect!
@wifeowilliam The song was written by John Fogerty of Creedence Clearwater Revival. He was very much a white guy. The "man" can be portrayed in many different views.
Hmmm.....this is a very southern, slackjaw kinda song, and Nimoy is very northern and East Coast....but he at least didn't try to say toynin and boynin.....
I can't remember the movie this line came from when Nimoy's version of "Proud Mary" was playing then the dude playing it pulled the stylus across the vinyl & you can hear a huge "SCRATCH" sound. Then the dude said "Ugh! This music stinks...we need some rock!" I think he was playing Nimoy.
WTF was the name of that movie??? I haven't heard that line in 20 yrs. Is it on YouTube? Funny play of events.
If ya'll can't say anything nice, then just don't listen. Go listen to another song. There is enough negativity in this world without having to see it on Youtube.
This is not logical.
