the only thing i didnt like about this game was that the spinosaurus and the megaraptor where the same size and had the same moves, and besides the spinosaurus in reality was bigger then the acrocanthosaurus it was bigger then the tyrannosaurus rex as well. but over all the game was great.

@darth09er not really, the spinosaurus actually had a set of teeth thats were made for eating and hunting fish, all though the spino was very fast on its feet and had strong arms and legs, so if a spino ever took on a t-rex, the t-rex would win more then lose, and thats fact.

@rijk1987 Right so you gloat about getting flawless with stygi? What do you expect when a. You're on easy mode and b. You use his headbutt to knock acro down and build up rage from afar and c. Use a barely played game so none of the cpu dinosaurs have learnt your tactics. I'd be more impressed if you did it on hard mode with Carcharo and Rage meters turned off.

Spinosaurus was biggest carnivore that was slightly stronger than the other giant carnivores (Allosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, giganotosaurus, and others) but it relied on fish and small dinosaurs so please don't insult the spino just because he kills you're favorite dinosaur. Ok. 10/5 for how they was really funny.

@C29Chris Have you got a memory card? Go to Options > Memory Card > Autosave On. Now it should save all your progress, this works on all consoles as long as you have an original PS1 Memory card. PS3 Will use an internal built one.

@sdawg310 what everyone is guessing and saying is that it was mutated or enhanched, we will never know for sure which dino would win, rex has a great advantage being stronger but as we have seen many times before with modern carnivores, there would most likely not be a fight; Just a display of size, trying to scare the other away.

this game is great, but i must say, they didnt make the spinosaurus good. in this game its just a reskin of the raptor and the fin added. it should have been a reskin of the suchomimus cuz theyre the same family. but great vid anyways!

Actually they just discovered that the Spinosaurus is the biggest carnivore ever to walk the earth not too long ago when they found a new skeleton that dwarfed anything previously found. You can google it for proof if you want.

What source is your information from and when was the article published? It is most often the case that not enough complete specimens of each species are found to get a good idea of there size range and distribution. If only as few specimens of a species were found are we to assume that that is the size range. Also not all fossils have been found. And not all species have left evidence that they have ever existed. Non everything becoms a fossil.

I am not sure where I read the very article, but it was in a science magazine.  But I believe wikipedia had something about it as well. It even had a chart on the biggest dinosaurs for each class. I would link you the url but youtube does not allow it I am afraid.

I think that half the "facts" that scientists make will turn out to be incorrect as time goes on, such as dinosaurs used to drag their tails when they walked or they were bad parents as first thought. Nice tactics. I do believe, as a dinosaur, Acrocanthosaurus is heavily under-rated, and I think he deserves a feature in the next JP movie. But still, real spinosaurid over imitation spinosaurid any day of the year.
