  • so u use it all over your face every night?

  • @lisurfer7 Yes, before your moisturizer :)

  • Hey hey. Do you use this all over the face, or just on the dark spot?

  • @BunnyHanyou All over :)

  • Wow.. I love your accent..

Could you tell me how you learn English?? You're English native?

  • @mrchadinchadponchai I came to America when I was little so I learned English as a second language.

  • Will it work the same way with different moisturiser than from EL?

  • @Issaland Yes but using an Estee Lauder moisturizer with an SPF will make the results more optimum. :)

  • @Issaland Yes but using an Estee Lauder moisturizer with an SPF will make the results more optimum. :)

  • I've been using this for almost 2wks - while my overall skin is much more radiant, I noticed that it slows down the healing process of fresh blemishes! I had a fresh blemish that was healing when I first started the serum, and normally it would dry and fall off...now it's been almost 2 wks and it's still fresh! So I'm going to take a break from this serum until my skin is completed healed. Has anyone else experienced this?

  • Thanks!:)

  • So,I went to Estee Lauder counter today to get a free samples of Idealist Even Skintone Illuminator and the sales lady told me to wear it with Estee Lauder Hydrationist Maximum Moisture Creme.I told her I don't want a moisturizer but she said that in order to make the Idealist works,I have to wear it with the moisturizer.I wanna know how you wear the Idealist. Is it with the moisturizer or just on it's own.

  • @olie171 The Even Skintone Illuminator is just a serum. It gives NO hydration benefits what so ever. Your skin needs some sort of moisture everyday so that is probably why she recommended you the Hydrationist. Just as long as you were a sunscreen over the Even Skintone Illuminator then you will be good. ^_^. For me PERSONALLY, I wear the Even Skintone Illuminator before my moisturizer and I ALWAYS wear a moisturizer. :)

  • Does it work on sunspots too?I a few sunspots that I want to get rid off.

  • @olie171 Yes definitely! ^_^

  • hey can you tell me more about Idealist Dual Action

    Refinishing Treatment please...

  • @supersoulsis1 It is a mask you use once a week to clear out the impurities of the pores. Use it for 5 mins while the skin is still wet after washing your face. It heats up to open up the pores so that the product can go deep and clean out the pores. ^_^

  • uncomfortable voice

  • @a10chop Can't think of a better insult?

  • This looks great! What moisturizer would you recommend while using this product? Currently, I am on Proactiv skincare, but I use this wonderful oil free Aveda hydrating mask. It can be used for great oil free moisture all day long. Is that fine, or would you recommend an Estee Lauder moisturizer?? Thanks :)

  • @musicsean77 I always try and stick to the same brand when it comes to skin care. I recommend the Day Wear moisturizer from Estee Lauder for oily skin (the lotion form).

  • i got the sample and i noticed that it get rid of some of my acne a little bit i was so surprised, i probably buy the full ize

  • @misskimaru That is awesome! YAY!

  • My mom has kinda dry or normal skin. She has dark spots all over her face :( - u know how crazy of the sun radiant in asia =.= .....Is this suit for her?

Is this just for nigh time only? or both day n night? Is there any serum or face lotion/moisturizer with high SPF u would recommend?

    Plz :)

  • @Oanh9x Yes this product will reduce those spots. You use this both morning and night. Try the Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess SPF 30 lotion. Good luck!

  • I can't wait to get this product maybe i can get to the point where i won't need foundation or tinted moisturizer. I have sun spots redness and a few acne scars nothing major but it bugs me

  • @xoxo0414 I dream of the day where I don't need to wear foundation anymore haha! ^_^ Good luck!

  • I have a sample of this product, and know I will buy the full size bottle asap! Just the redness reduction is worth it for me. Like you, the acne scare reduction is my ultimate goal. Please post an update in a few weeks!!!

  • @MrsBioChemNerd I already did posted a "2 weeK after" video. Check that out as well. You will definitely love this product! ^_^

  • Hi so i just bought this (first estee lauder purchase ever) and im trying to decide how i want to include this in my regimen(i have oily skin)...i want to use it day and night however i want to continue using my benzoyl peroxide treatment day and night bcuz that helps prevent acne for me. Is this a good idea or should i switch them up

  • @lilbowwowchick38922 Use this product after cleansing your skin and BEFORE any moisturizers. Use only 1 pump because that would be enough for the whole face. I say put the Idealist Even Skintone Illuminator before the acne treatment ^_^!

  • omg im an estee lauder freak! this is one of my new favs. you need to be careful though, the idealist one can cause worse breakouts if not applied properly. still <3 it tho :P

  • can you tell me how much?

  • @hwatin 1oz is $58 and 1.7oz is $85

  • I use Vitamin C serum and toner - should I put this on after both of those?

  • @bleh929 It is recommended that you use one serum only unless you are using this product with the advanced night repair. Using it with a difference serum can alter it from achieving the clinical results. Hope this helped!

  • In the mornings, I use a Vitamin C serum and toner as well. Should I put both of those on before this?

  • does tis really work???

  • @missdanceme Yes it does.

  • Im so excited for this product! >:D

  • @xoxoxtin3 YAY!!!!! ^_^

  • i am using proactive. how would i use this product with that regiment? thanks so muchhh xoxoxox

  • @sadler6203 Use it morning and night AFTER the toner and BEFORE the moisturizer. ^_^

  • @XxLangDuxX thank you!! i was just wondering because i didnt know if the benzoyl peroxide in the moisturizer would have any effect on how the skintone illuminator works.

  • @sadler6203 It should work just fine! ^_^ Good luck!

  • I'm so exited about this product as well!! I work for the Estee Lauder companies, let me just say that it is safe to use follow by your idealist pore minimizer, or perfectionist cp+ it was actually developed to be used AM/PM

for existing Estee Lauder customers, follow by your day and night repair serums for 12 weeks! After the 12 weeks you can only use it in the morning!! It will not intervene with the results.

  • @millam54 Thank you for the comment! ^_^

  • I love you. Your 1st revieve is great! You answered all my questions! Thanks so much. I am about to watch your 2wk update.

  • @mammaification Yay! Thank you for watching! ^_^

  • I'm super anxious to try this, I can't wait for your update to see whether it's worth the money or not.

  • @Addict406 To me it is worth the $85 for the 1.7oz! I will do a video by the end of this week! ^_^! Been so busy with work!

  • Hey I was just wondering...can I still used my acne product while I'm using this Illuminator...b/c I still have some acne...?

  • @nkaujhnub86 Yes. Just use it BEFORE any acne moisturizer.

  • i got mine for 72.00 on military base(: tax free!

  • @ukee21 Lucky! ^_^

  • Hi, how many times are you suppose to apply this per day? Thanks!

  • @Cooriosity05 2 times a day for 12 weeks and then after 12 weeks only in the morning! ^_^. You use it after cleansing and toning but BEFORE your moisturizer.

  • @XxLangDuxX ........TWO WEEKS TO ACHIEVE A 62% improvement in skintone, then you transition into using it once a day before your am moisturizer.

  • @rileybela I beg your pardon but I have read the booklet provided by my account coordinator and it states you use it night and day for 12 weeks THEN transition to only morning.

  • Hi, how many times are you suppose to apply this per day? Thanks!

  • @Cooriosity05 Here is the RIGHT info on this product. I work for Estee Lauder and can honestly say there is nothing else out there that compares to this product.....NOT Genefique or Evenbetter Clinical.

To achieve clinical results (62% skintone improvement) in ONLY 2 weeks this is what needs to be done. During the first two weeks you will use the serum twice a day after your Advance Night Repair and before your moisturizer. You do not have to stop using your other serums but if you do c

  • @rileybela I also work for ESTEE LAUDER but I rather have this product results speaks for itself. I don't like to compare products and I rather stick to what I know about the product. Please let the viewers see for the product for what's it worth and not compare our products to a competitor's product. I thank you.

  • @Cooriosity05 You use it 2 times a day ^_^! In the morning you use it before your moisturizer. At night you use it after your Advanced Night Repair (if you are using it) and before your moisturizer. You use it 2 times a day to achieve the 2 weeks clinical results. After 12 weeks you can continue using this product and use it only in the morning! Hope this helps!

  • Yea, I don't make video's but I'm inspired to show my recovering so yea...I'm still editing. I don't know how to make video so it's gonna be awhile. I will let you know for sure.

  • @nkaujhnub86 Good Luck!

  • Thanks, isn't this the same as the Clinique's even better clinical dark spot eraser except for the difference in price? I look forwared to your before and after results :)

  • @MissBlahblahblah786 It is about $8 more expensive but ours have results in 2 weeks! ^_^

  • @XxLangDuxX

Well it's still kind of expensive especially if you don't know if it's going to do what it claims...And plus you have to keep repurchasing it during the 12+ weeks to get the result :/ I'm going to wait for Paul Begoun to give her review on this (on beautypedia in july) :)

  • @MissBlahblahblah786 For my own skin ESTEE LAUDER skin care always done great things for me so I always take the plunge and purchase their skin care. ^_^ Just like a moisturizer you are going to have to constantly use it to prevent new uneven skintone and wear a sunscreen otherwise the toxic environment will bring it back. I love the illuminating part about it but the fading of acne is a big plus and it also didn't break me out to an allergic reaction like the Clinique one.

  • @MissBlahblahblah786 ...Don't forget you can always ask for a sample or try it on at an EL counter. A good Beauty Advisor should not push you to buy then and there. He or she should listen, observe, and encourage your questions and needs.

  • @rileybela Of course. Customer satisfaction is number one priority.

  • @MissBlahblahblah786

if you do continue using the other serums it may seem like too much. Clinique is owned by Estee Lauder. At Estee Lauder you pay more for your product b/c they work faster. EBC requires at least two bottles to be purchased to achieve clinical results. Also, EBC DOES not provide INSTANT radiance!

  • I'm so excited to try this..I just bought it today. Last time you recommend me to get the night repair and pore less serum..I'm so in love..my face is so much better now..I'm gonna have to finish my acne video and tag you to check it out. Thanks for showing me such great product..love it..!

  • @nkaujhnub86 Hehe no problem!!!! I can't wait to see your video!!! ^_^!!! Let me know when it is up!

  • Have you tried the Advance Night repair, I love that product and it works wonder I'll have a pimple I wake up the next morning and it would be almost gone I love that product

  • @Ktmakeupfx Yes I do use it and I have a video on it! ^_^

  • @XxLangDuxX I love it too, i've been using it for about a year, I recently bought the Lancome Genifique to use in the morning I love it too but its more for the skin texture my skin feels soft and smooth but with the Advance repair its totally different its like magic

  • @Ktmakeupfx Hehehe yup! I haven't tried Genifique yet and idk when I will try it because I am kinda avoiding the brand haha! LOL

  • @XxLangDuxX Oh trust me I had the same dilema I look everywhere because im looking for a serum to use in the morning and the only ones that comes head to head is the genifique and advance night repair, the prevage is a little too much for my budget. the genifique is good too but the advance night repair cream has some kind of magical powers lol, I wanted to do a review on both but I dont want to sound bias coz I love estee lauder but I will try my best to give both the pros and cons

  • @Ktmakeupfx Don't worry I have the same problem so that is why I always say if you find something that works then STICK with it LOL! I learned my lesson the hard way. I am iffy about skin care that goes on my face too but ESTEE LAUDER always worked for me so I usually trust all their ingredients for my skin ^_^! I hope it works out for you because it is an amazing product!

  • @XxLangDuxX The Idealist Skintone Illuminator provides instant radiance, immediately targets redness, and over the course of two weeks (used properly) helps with age, dark, sunspots, traces of acne....There is liquorice, algae, and rice extract in the product. The first two help to cool the skin (redness diminishes). The product may seem expensive for buyers who are used to Clinique/drugstore prices. I can assure that this product will provide you with some serious and positive results.

  • @rileybela I already know this product will give me GREAT results and I am already using 98% of ESTEE LAUDER skin care so I am sure it will work for me.

  • I bought this and used for first time last night and am using it today. I have alot of red splotches from breakouts to fade. I hope this works better then Clinique's version! Which I gave at least a month try & it broke me out defeating the purpose. I hope this is different because the ingredients are almost identical. They are under the same company. We shall see I am crossing my fingers esp at this price!!

  • @landmarkcm The Clinique one gave me an allergic reaction the first 3 days of using it. This one hasn't broken me out yet and I see more radiant in my skin! ^_^ Can't wait to see more results!!! I hope this works out for you too!

  • @XxLangDuxX Hi ya im hoping this is better too. I noticed it only has a few diff ingredients then the Clinique version and there in slightly different order. I'll report back in a couple weeks. Estee Lauder claims faster results the Clinique does with theirs... There just so similar Im hoping Estee Lauder did enough to make there's better. Hopefully since you said you haven't reacted yet & they do say it's Non Acnegenic..

  • @landmarkcm I can tell there is a difference between the 2. But Clinique is 100% allergy tested... but not in my case haha! Yeah tell me how it works! ^_^

  • @landmarkcm can you let me know the list of ingredients, I was hoping to try this product but I would like to check out the ingridients first.

  • @Oedipus58921 The 1st couple are Water, Dimethicone, Isododecane, Cyclopentasiloxane, Polysilicone-11, Butylene Glycol.... I see many silicone ingredients. Hope this helps!

  • @XxLangDuxX Aren't silicone ingridients suppose to break you out....it mightbe a lot of work but u can share to the world the ingridients by posting them on cosdna. c o m if u have time that is :p

  • @Oedipus58921 Silicone does have a tendency to break people out because it lays on the surface of the skin. However, this one didn't and I also used silicone base primers before and I never broke out. The only product that has silicone and broke me out is the Clinique Even Better Clinical. Usually the first couple ingredients are most active but if I have some time then I will post the ingredients list.

  • @XxLangDuxX Thanks for your advice and I'm sorry if u felt I was pushing you for the ingredients. I guess I'll have to go to the counter to verify them myself. Anyway the reason I was so pestering about the topic is because almost everything breaks me out, therefore I'm really careful about what I put on my skin, moreover when it's kinda pricy. *Sigh*I don’t have to just worry about if it’s going to work, first I need to determine it won’t break me out.

  • @Oedipus58921 Its ok. It is great to do research to see if it has a negative reaction on your skin or not! ^_^

  • I am really glad you did this video... I have used Estee Lauder cosmetics for 15 years, but unfortunately their skincare products have never worked for me. I will probably try the Skintone Illuminator also. Are you going to use the Cooling Eye Illuminator too?

  • @yoyoioke Awwww I am sorry that it doesn't work for you! Can you tell me what problems you had with their skin care line? Maybe I can clear up some things for you ^_^! YES I will definitely try the Cooling Eye Illuminator after I am done with my ESTEE LAUDER Re-Nutriv Revitalizing Eye Cream and the ESTEE LAUDER Nutritious Eye Gel LOL! ^_^

  • @XxLangDuxX Thanks for responding! You're so awesome. I had a bad breakout from a mineral makeup, which left some scarring. I tried the Advanced Night Repair line, and it did nothing. I have pretty normal skin with the exception of severely dry skin around my nose, I tried the Day Wear line, and it also did nothing. I am very interested in the Illuminators. I do love the Body Performance Treatment though. Your skin looks great. I love your reviews!

  • @yoyoioke Advanced Night Repair is a serum that PREVENTS aging so it is more of preventing the problems instead of solving it but it also heals scars and sun damages too even if you can see it. It neutralizes 90% of free radicals from pollution that does harm and ages your skin. Day Wear also prevents free radicals from damaging your skin so that is why you haven't really seen any MAJOR results because those are prevention products. BUT the Illuminator is a product where you can SEE results ^_^

  • @yoyoioke I hope that was helpful to you because I always want to prevent before the "wrinkles" come and prevention products doesn't usually have a VISUAL effect but for me ESTEE LAUDER products healed my acne and that is a HUGE accomplishment for me ^_^!!!!

  • This is the 1st time I watch one of your videos. I have never used Estée Lauder, but would like to try it. My skin is very sensitive, it has some sun damage (dark spots), and it breaks out with acne easily with most products. My first concern would be sun protection. Does Estee Lauder has SPF in their products?

  • @ottylorena Yes! Some of Estee Lauder moisturizers have SPF 15 or SPF 30! They also sell a separate sunscreen SPF 30! ^_^ Thank you for watching my videos and I hope you will enjoy the rest!

  • You are so excited and upbeat in this video! <3 You make me want to try it. Let me know if you see results.. if you do, I'll go buy it!

  • @RAEview Awwww thank you Rae! It makes me feel so happy that you commented on this video! Yes I have been waiting MONTHS for this product and I know it will work for me! I will do another video on it in 2 weeks to see the initial results! ^_^!!!!!

  • i love your videos on the estee lauder i agree with you i love these stuff as well. it really is good. i was using the toner and took it back then switched to the neutragena toner so now iam having a little break out just a little. but not bad. so what do you suggest i do in these case. i also have my own channel and revies on the product. it is lynette3232 good review.

  • @lynette3232 The Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher and the Idealist Micro-D really helped keep my acne under control! ^_^!

  • I am going to get this :D! I have some acne scars in my face u.u

  • @yamilayamilayamila I hope it works for you!!!! ^_^

  • Please keep up updated with this serum :-)

  • @allelie1 I will! ^_^

  • I have a lot of acne scarring. I hope this product helps!

  • @allelie1 I hope so too! I have yet to see results in 2 weeks LOL! ^_^

  • Hi :-) but if u use the Even Skintone Illuminator first and then wait like 10 minutes to absorb and then the pore minimizing??? i bought the 3.4 pore minimizing cuz i really like it and i don't want to just leave it there.

  • @cruz111 I also bought the 3.4oz of the Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher too and I want to use it up too! But to get the clinical results you must either use one or the other. Some other beauty advisor use it AFTER the Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher. You can also try using the pore minimizer on spots that needs to be treated and then use the Even Skintone Illuminator. Hope this helps! ^_^

  • OMG i want to get it! :D wonder if it's out in uk yet

i didn't know it treats acne scars too yay! does it minimise the appearance of pores like the idealist ?

gosh, only 2 weeks :O amazing

  • @LeonLovesIt Nope it doesn't minimizes the pores. They are both called Idealist LOL! The only difference is that one is called Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher and the other is called Idealist Even Skintone Illuminator. Haha!

  • @XxLangDuxX aw, would've been even better if it does that too lol

anyway how come at night you use it over advanced night repair? but not in the day?

  • @LeonLovesIt You could use it over the Idealist but it is not recommended. What I do is in the morning, I put the Illuminator on 1st and then I put the Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher on after LOL! It works fine for me! ^_^

  • I'm looking forward to buying this. However I live in Hawaii so we still don't have it. I've been using the idealist pore serum but I don't think it's working for me so I'm very excited to try this

  • @allelie1 Awwww I am sure they should be releasing it very soon! I am sorry the Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher doesn't work for you! That product is suppose to minimize the pores and diminish dry flakey skin. The product I am mentioning in the video illuminate and even out the skin tone. Both products have different attributes.

  • have you tried there new foundation that i think its only available in asia its the cyber white brilliant perfection advanced brightening gelcreme..

  • @rukao010708 Nope! We don't even have Cyber White in the US... I wish we did though!

  • Awww Hieu that looks great! Let me know the results :)

  • @AdOrAvAnG Of course Adora!!! ^_^

  • I actually had a dream last night about this product :)

    Take Care.

  • @CasualLuxuries LOL!!!!! Wow that's nice! ^_^

  • @XxLangDuxX I know right :) Is it out for sell yet? By the way does it have a melt away texture?

  • @CasualLuxuries It is out for sale. Like I said before it is a serum so it sinks fast into the skin. It is a little bit thicker than a water-based serum but not as thick as the Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher.

  • @XxLangDuxX oh okay :) I am not sure why the EL live chat told me it will be out during early June lol.

  • @CasualLuxuries It is suppose to be launched in June but they are pushing it to May ^_^! Even on the ESTEE LAUDER website has it for sale right now LOL!

  • @XxLangDuxX I know but its not going to be shipped until the 30th lol.

  • You're so cuuutteeeee!!!! X3

I have really sensitive skin and I'm always a little nervous when trying new products because my skin can get really really dry. Does this have any benzoyl peroxide or salacylic acid in it?

  • @sp00kii Nope it has none of those ingredients you just mentioned LOL!

  • Oh how exciting sweetie! This is perfect for our skin problem...Hooray!!! I'm gonna go get a sample and see if i will break me out first. Should be ok since all Estee Lauder product suits my skin. Btw you'r skin is looking good! Can't wait to see it in two weeks and see how this product will work for you. xo

  • @ThePurplewindow I can't wait too chi! ^_^!

  • hey, my mom using 2 serums in the morning: one is idealist pore minimizing and one is wrinkle lifting serum. So which one do u think should she use 1st for the best result?

    thks!!!!!!

  • @bijenny89 You can either use one or the other... mixing them will inhibit the results. I would say use the Idealist Even Skintone Illuminator 1st and then using the Perfectionist CP+ (Wrinkle Serum) on where that is needed. ^_^! Skip the Idealist Pore Minimizing because if your concern is for even skintone then you will use the Idealist Skintone Illuminator. ^_^! Hope this helps!

  • hey ^^ ugh your skin looks amazing compared to before even compared to most people lol you're beautiful (: but.. would you say someone with normal - sometimes a little dry skin could use this product?

  • @tokyodoru Awww thank you! This product can be used on ANY skin types! ^_^!
