  • Hi

I have some heavy gradients on my G scale layout and want to run my 1:20.3 and Bachmann Annie steamers with more than one or two cars.

How long has the Bullfrog snot lasted on the wheels?

Do you have to clean any crud that gets stuck to the wheels with Bullfrog Snot applied?

  • @gliderslider Measured my gradients with a digital level at 7-8%. The Snot allow the C-16 to effortlessly climb them with a good load of cars. Snot seems to last several weeks and 20-30 runs before turning dark and wearing thin in spots. I just re-apply without pre-cleaning the wheels, let it dry and off to the track. I started with a new engine, so precleaning the wheels would be a good idea. You want a smooth wheel surface and application of Snot to have a smooth running loco.
