It is not illegal to keep a sailfish... Especially in Mexican waters. No, we did not release it... It fed two families. As for Marlins, I haven't had the pleasure of catching one, yet, but rest assured that we'd release it.
the guy who said it is elegal to catch sailfish has absoloutly no idea of what he is talking about!!!! it is legal to catch sailfish. it has to be 63 inches long and have a salt/fresh water license to catch one.
