@KickingItKiera Thanks for the kind words :) I wouldn't say that many dislike it because it's a shojo but many don't even give it a chance for that reason which is really sad. The target audience has never been an important factor when I choose anime - I loved it and I'm not afraid to say it :D
@pionicor Sorry but yes I did. After watching the school life part, I felt that it is very cheering, but after watching the after story part, I was so depressed. I have no comment on the two ova though
(2)The power family was clearly visible in this anime.If not for the miraculous ending this would have been very realistic but nevertheless it was a happy ending.For which I was glad.Looking forward for your next review.Cheers.
Nice review.You brought out some fine points which didn't come to me when I watched the show.I too agree the the girls here ,their eyes are too big and (1)sparkly,but in a way it adds to the uniqueness of show.I too enjoyed the comic duo which were Nagisa's parents Akio and Sanae.But the only complain I have is most of the characters exhibited predictable behavior.Specially Nagisa. Tomoya and Akio were the best for me.Akio's encouragement of Nagisa in the play brought tears to my eyes...
@kaputasri I know I said that their eyes are really large but I didn't think that they were too large. These big and expressive eyes are just a way to make these characters look more innocent and ignorant.
I completely agree with all the rest of your points. Even about the character behaviour. Some of them do follow their certain stereotypes a bit too close but for me it was nothing to make me stop watching.

@Elzuons I too agree.I too felt depressed when I watched it.Specially the death of Nagisa.As if that wasn't enough, Ushio also had to die.With those two combined it was too much.The little story at the beginning of the anime was confusing and it made little sense till the end.The end was a bit of a miracle but it was satisfying and relieved the depressive, gloomy atmosphere.Though these serious animes make it to my top list, I prefer watching action packed bit idiotic animes.If harem..

I really like your review it makes me want to finish watching Clannad
I liked it but it was really sad and lttle bit depresssing
i like animes with more funny and little bit idiotic actions.....
maby im just too young or stupid........: )
But if somebody havent seen this anime
i highly recomend this................just watch it...XD
