I love how people say Elvis was racist. That's ignorance. Elvis loved and embraced African Americans, he covered blues and R&B music. Blues and Folk music are dying art forms, you are all too busy with horrible MTV music. I loved this tribute.I'm black and I'm hood as hood gets and I truly love Elvis. Yeah lots of black people say he racist because that's what you were told growing up. I don't think he was racist because the place he first made a record was a black owned studio right in the heart of Memphis. All the black singers that during that period said that Elvis had his own style and will tell you about his personality and what he brought to music. He's the reason I love Rock and Roll.

What came befor the blues..how did blues develope and white Jimmy Rogers from Memphis was doing blues about the same time as WC Handy{20s} as were a lot of white artists. Rock'n'Roll derives from Country,blues and gosple{or hillbilly} all performed by black and whit.

Also there were a lot of half cast people doing the blues so half of them were white.
