How did this stuff get into the ocean? That's sick. I mean it seems logical not to dump garbage in the ocean (or any other habitat). In many countries that stuff is just burned or recycled, are there countries throwing garbage into the ocean?

i await the day i can put all plastic in a bag and recycle the whole lot of it.

as long as we have to sort different recycling codes and rules the amount of plastic actually recycled will always be low

Think of every dirty pamper that has gotten thrown away times the number of children in the world times the generations so far who have used it...

A simple solution is carry your re-usable beverage bottle with you daily and grocery bags. We HAVE to become a less disposible society otherwise our future generations will be completely buried in plastic and trash. It is a lifesytle and mindset that WE ALL need to be a part of.
