i think some people overate Alatreon just because he's the symbol of Chaos. Personaly i just think hes a big doara thats red and hs some few fishy moves and a better theme...but then again every monster stands for different things like Amatsu is like Posiedon and alatreon is like the hades and white fatalis is like Zues.......

alatreon is much to easy... i needed about 4 trys with my bro to kill a Amatsu Magatsuchi and we killed alatreon at our first try! so shut up, i think you guys are just playing with stpuid hammers and solo every boss and dont know for what this game stand -.-

Personally I reserve my judgement on Alatreon and Amatsu. For now, White Fata is still the most powerful [and badass] Elder Dragon out there.

And very few claim that those like the fatalis or amatsu are "true monsters" unlike Alatreon...lol that's funny; In addition, the wiki itself says that Alatreon is one of the most feared monster and almost no monster can kill it save for the slow and elder dragon Fatalis which lives so far away from it, and at last but not least just look at the failed weapons you can craft from amatsu's parts? they fail the most while Alatreon's got nerfed and still are far superior lol...

True True, the fatalis brethen were very slow, i think a TRUE elder dragon was teostra (not lunastra), for a gunner, two hits, youre dead, make that three for a blademaster, i also think rukodiora and chameleos (of they had more life, and stronger attacks) would be a good challenge, nothing compared to alatreon however

Besides Alatreon is so much agresive and stronger that's why he got nerfed in Portable 3RD lol...because kids who could not kill it complained and bitched about how strong he was. Very few people claim Alatreon is "super weak" compared to monster such as the Fatalis the funny thing is that the Fatalis is one of the weakest monsters not only because he barely attacks the hunter in the right direction but also gotta be one of the slowest monsters ever made...(see for white fatalis vid...)

To the comentary of the owner of this video: You fail to realize Alatreon is so much stronger than Amatsumagatsuchi right? The fight with amatsu is so crazy easy not only for the ballistas amunitions and the binders they give to you but also Amatsus attack are very easy to avoid and the only deadly ones are the tornado and the super aqua beam attack in second rage stage, aside from that, this monster is pretty easy to beat SPECIALLY if you are gunner with dragon coating lol...

Also, he's been seen in every location of tri and he does come out of the ground (seeing how Hades' realm is the underworld and the pit of tartarus).

To all who think they think this guy can beat White Fatalis, no, impossible, White Fatalis is classified as an Elder Dragon God, Amatsu is not. A white Fatalis is the *Ancestor* of *All* Elder Dragons, and is classified also, as the *strongest* Elder Dragon in the MH Universe, and most players find it near impossible to solo a White Fatalis due to it's Insta Kill attacks, and armor mode, which usually ends up with a quest running out of time~Though I'm sure Teostra can kill Amatsu, Fire weak~

@DaUsher I think they are abt equal. White Fatalis controls thunder while Amatsu here commands the wind/water element (his weapons are all water element).

Judging by both monsters' godly appearance and control over the elements, I'd venture a guess that the MH people are trying to make both dragons a representative of each element.

I wont be surprised if we'll see a fire and ice equivalent in future MH installments.

@Direwolf13PS3 True. But personally, he doesnt look quite as "godly" as Amatsu or White Fatalis. I think Akantor and Ukanlos would fit the ultimate Fire/Ice dragon category.

But, I still feel that Amatsu is the most godly of all in terms of appearance. You know that the MH dudes created something special when they named it a tongue-twisting "Amatsu Magatsuchi" and the fact that the heavy rainstorm instantly clears up when u defeat it.

@Direwolf13PS3 yeah.. actually Akantor/Ukanlos are pretty easy to defeat. With lance/gunlance, there is a formulaic way of defeating them. Personally, i find alot Rajang harder.

But White Fatalis is the most godly imo, in music and abilities, they just kinda underplayed his powers on the enviornment.....

I mean, you're fighting what's basically THE god of the MH universe, the big daddy of all elder dragons, they should have at least give him his own unique stage, heck, Black fatalis got a really epic arena! Something like heaven would work for White Fatalis.
