Uploader, I need help. I tried to use Gingerbreak, but after I start it, it doesn't complete. :(

I have tried keeping it for 10mins+, no difference. Any idea why?

I don't use the P500 anymore. At the time I had made that video, I was using franco's devoid ROM, which was better than megatron (both are froyo ROMs). But now they're both out-of-date, so maybe you should try CM7 instead.

I want to do this but the tutorial i am using gives me a link to franco Kernel, but it also says it comes with ZRAM, it isn't there... is ZRAM included in the franco zip?

actually u dont..

i just rooted using gingerbreak, and sd card just needs to be kept inserted. While rooting card gets unmounted automatically.. :)

Of course, Gingerbread for P500 has been out for a while now. ;) Follow develop on XDA, its easy.

Dude that video is one month old, franco already released about half a dozen of new versions of his kernel, and cm7 got updated twice, that's pretty normal you're phone's gonna be performing better right now.
