  • I agree with the XD conversion. I have an XDm in .45. I'm very tempted by the FN .45, as well. I may be purchasing one of those, and having one in .50 would be awesome!!! That 185-grain copper hollowpoint looks hard to beat.

  • Sweet. Now I'd like to see a Springfield XD 50. GI. Just to get hyped.

  • i want a 1911 in 50, fucking awesome

  • Oh fck? .50 M1911s I would buy one, but .50 bullets are expensive..

  • When if at all will glock join s&w and desert eagle and make a .50 handgun, I would buy one if priced below the $1000 price tag of the other .50...

  • where can I purchase this kit?

  • Talk about expensive! These rounds are rediculous! On top of that, the .50GI cartridge doesnt have the chamber pressure or the velocity of the .50AE! I'm guessin this is a slow round for close range self defense only...

  • @Airsoftpsyco1423

Guessing you don't have a lot of positive stuff to say, every one of your comments on our various videos has been negative..

  • @GunWebsites anyone with "airsoft" in their username loses all credibility with me

  • Jesus. Can a Glock 20 even handle the pressure from a cartridge like that?! I'm serious, I'd like to know.

  • how hard is it to find .50GI ammo?

  • I'm just wondering since that you are changing a Glock to a custom pistol, if had to use it in a self protection scenario, wouldn't the attorneys eat this up??? You are now a monster killer with deadly intent?? Just curious... but I DO want one!!

  • perhaps, it would end up depending on your lawyer

goes back to judged by 12 or carried by 6 IMO though

  • One of those look like the 6mm Nambu pistol the japs used in WWII.

  • wait .50 m1911s?

  • yup

  • I want one!

  • i'll take one of each please!!!!!

  • ME too although I don't know how often I could shoot it, LOL

  • Love the 50gi ..This is a must have conversion..you basicaly have the best of both worlds, which is shooting a huge ass 50cal bullet with the recoil of a 45+P ..If that is too much, Guncrafter industries has some slower waterdown loads for practicing traveling around 800fps..I own a conversion kit for the Glock21sf..I will post some pics and some balistics on the new 185gr Copper hollow point traveling at 1200fps...reeds ammo will also be loading these in the near future at 1300fps

  • thanks for the info

  • well i would luv to own a gun

  • im thinking about buying a gun and the part i didnt understand was when they were talking about the glock kit. what is it for?

  • Well they aren't selling guns, just the 'kit' that allows a Glock to shoot the larger bullet

So they are talking about kits for guns you already own

BTW, this is a bit large for a first gun, I'd recommend something smaller, and more 'standard' that will be easier to get parts and ammo for

  • im thinking about getting a glock 17. i was just curious because they talked about a glock kit and the slide was silver. tell me, im very interested in adding a quality silver/ or chrome slide to my would be new glock 17 3rd generation that i plan on buying. do you

have any recommendations? also would it be as simple as taking off the oem one and putting the new one on?

  • i also heard that you

can duplicoat or something the oem one with a silver finish. if so any recommednations

on which is better would help a lot. thanks.

  • not something I would do at home.. if you really want that kind of modification I suggest you have a pro do it

  • there are after market slides some are nickel or chrome, I never used them though, so I can not recommend them

  • expensive..i would stick with the aluminum and get the stock slide...they are made a certain way for a reason...wouldn't wanna mess with "Perfection" lol

  • @88arau 9mm hollow points are expensive enough. imagjine trying to get .50's. ill just stick with the 9.

  • how much do these things run for?

  • sorry missed this one, but I'm not sure what the costs are

  • its around five hundred

  • word i need a model 1

  • Now that's what our troops should be carrying! None of this 9mm crap...

  • @dirtyminded604 In the military it's about quantity of firepower. More bullets downrange is better in their eyes- hence the relief of the 1911 :(

  • @dirtyminded604 Troops are carrying enough as it is.

So many pundits saying "ooh they got to carry this" they end up carrying more load than a knight in a full suit of armour, while the haji are able to run away from every fight they might lose.

  • @Treblaine It's a fact. These hopped up radical Muslims with adrenaline rushing through their bodies, screaming in the name of Allah have still attacked after multiple 9mm rounds have been put in their body. The .45acp has the immediate stopping power needed. And a fully loaded .45 is not too much difference in weight from a fully loaded 9mm. (of course depending on firearm manufacturer). Certainly not significant enough to not warrant carrying.

  • @dirtyminded604 Fair enough .45 beats 9mm

But my point is all this "they should carry" leads to The Brass hanging too much gear on the soldiers.

Consider that the days of the 4-foot-long-10lbs rifles are gone, a handgun is no longer vital for close quarters fighting when standard issue M4-carbine excelles there .

A loaded pistol weighs almost as much as 3 spare magazine. Extra 90 rifle rounds are more valuable than a sidearm.

    Pistols are for concealed/convenience carry.

  • No Problem, these are some really interesting pistols. and the Glock slides are very cool

  • Nice vid, Thanks.
