They are freaky, they always turn and look at you. They group together and all their heads turn at once. Freaky!!

Heh wierd... looks like a NZ endemic Praying Mantis but it doesn't have the purple spots or "freaky" eyes. Is this in Australia by any chance?

Sweet vid, the ability for a mantis to pivot its head like that is actually a super rare trait in insects nice capture :D
