No on "turns gay". If you talk to a gay person they will tell you that they have felt that way from childhood, for as long as they remember. i think black people need to stop feeling like it's us against the world. that time is over. remember our history, but stop thinking u have to fit into what other black ppl feel like u're supposed to be. as a smart black female, the only ppl who ever told me i was wrong for being intelligent or having goals are OTHER BLACKS. if we had the courage to thrive instead of dumbing ourselves down so we're "acting black" & fitting stereotypes, black men AND women would be 1000X better off.
