Haha I'm in the process of learning a bunch of their songs on trumpet, like I've learned the Akara, the Shrew, Postcards from Italy, mount wroclai, the Gulag Okestar, and a bunch more, great job, although there were a couple of notes that sounded off in the trumpet and one of the chords from the intro sounded like it didn't fit, great job though

I like how desperate the guy that said "Play already, it's already recording!" Not that I enjoy hearing desperation in people's voices, it just happened to tickle me for whatever reason. Anyway, really good cover guys, I enjoyed it a lot. 5 stars. Especially for the "graceful" ending. =p I probably sounded like a jerk this whole comment thus far but I really believe that this is very good.

i just tried to figure it out for you on my sax (tenor so we're in the same key)

its Bb A Bb D C C Bb Bb Bb A Bb C C D C (that will sound weird, but it should fit with the rhythm)

and then around 1:34 it should be something like

D Eb F Eb D D C C C D Eb D C Bb Bb Bb C D Eb D C

and generally notes that come in threes are triplets....

i hope that wasn't too hard to follow, but i think it will get you on the right track

You are a great bunch of musicians, only problems were the vocals (song could have been done in a different key), and the drums are out of time when they first come in at the beginning but for the rest they are fine. As a whole, it's one of the better elephant gun covers around :-)

all it needs is a to be in a different key and to have a little extra emotion (which would be easier to do if it were in a key better suited to your voice). I just learned postcards from Italy on the uke the other day :-), I've never played one before so I was dead chuffed :-D

haha that would have been difficult to do considering i figured out all of the orchestral parts for the original key hoping we'd find a singer. this entire thing was pretty last minute, but i'm proud of the result =]
