  • Shanti, have you looked at your videos from December? I don't care what your scale said this last time, but you definitely did NOT put yourself back to the actual weight you were in Dec. The difference in your face from this video until weigh in #44 is amazing. Keep it up! One of these days I'll start blogging. I started Jan at 177....today = 164.6. wohoo! :) I *really* needed some motivation to get healthy again and your videos did it for me. You just keep doing what you're doing!

    I'm from England so I only really have Scotland Wales and Ireland as countries to travel to without paying for flights!! America seems such a strange place lol! I mean that in good way tho .. Just alien to me.

    I have only been once, I did a week of skiing at lake Tahoe in California/Nevada that was fab! I also went to San Fran Cisco to visit Alcatraz which was pretty cool although the weather there was just like England .RAIN!

    I have only been to the London-Heathrow airport :P I want to go so badly!! I will go someday, hopefully soon.

  • I started watching your videos a few weeks ago, and I am truly inspired! I gave up my caffeine dependency and started drinking green tea in the morning which was never an option for me. I was always one of those people that HAD to have 2 cups of strong coffee before 9:00am. I'm on a weight loss journey as well and this time I'm inspired to make small changes for health so that I incorporate them in to every day life...your videos are helping me a lot with that goal! Thank you!

  • I know green tea has caffeine...but my goal was to give myself the ability to pass on the coffee (it makes me crave sweets) and drink something far healthier. It's interesting how the body assimilates the caffeine from tea as opposed to how it does from coffee. It gives me the boost in the morning...with out turing me into a donut craving bitch!!! Sounds crazy...but all to be healthier!!

    I drink green tea now instead of anything else (well, sometimes I have oolong) and I love it.

But have had Gains throughout the year. Hey-its better to keep at it then just quit right?   • Haha thanks - yeah, I try not to get too worried. I should make a video about this... but when I look at my full weight-loss graph, it's ALL over the place, up and down the whole time... but in the end I've lost all this weight! So when it goes up I just try to shrug and know that it will go down again.

I decide to change, want to be no over weight My 'parents' no aware me need loose weight so all I be do is run in place for many minutes at times many crounch me do stomach very in pain, I need advice from you pleas am to young to be buy own food.

    Have you tried jumping jacks? They are very good and you can do them in place :)

  • how many those you think do in each day? I try do what you do and keep journal weight and record each of week

  • I think you should do exercise for 30 minutes/day... so if you combine that with running in place and push-ups and sit-ups, it should be 30 minutes total.

    I don't know how many jumping jacks that would be.

  • Yes, because when you eat food and drink water your body keeps it inside of you... and you are heavier at night.

    I go to the bathroom in the morning to pee and then weigh myself :)

  • My mom is a speech-language pathologist and educator and she is nearing retirement and is handing the business over to me over the next 10 years. I do accounting, marketing, design, book production and sales.

    In my free time I also do freelance web/graphic design and writing.

    The best way to start is small - as a SIDE job to your main one. No matter what you do, start small and eventually move into full-time. It took me a long time to be able to do this FT. :)
