This uses some of the leaked models from 2003; it's more of a "vision of what TF2 might've been" than a "this is what TF2 was."

You do know that this isn't the real TF2 from that period. All that was made available to the public at the time of HL2's leak was two player models (as seen in the video) and the source code.

Well,not exactly.

TF2 : Brotherhood of arms was based on the GoldSrc engine while this is based on the Source engine (build 1) and TF2 : Brotherhood of arms was more a military-like multiplayer FPS while this is a sci-fi theme FPS.

It's natural,it's a LEAK.That does mean that it's been uploaded from some user who cracked Team GabeN's PCs or an ex-Team GabeN member.

I can assure you nobody hacked any of our members, and this build was share between three or four people if I recall correctly. Popbob got access to our ftp, but I don't recall how.

Acutally,both TF2 Final and Alpha are "mods" of HL2 (in fact,they're based on the same engine).

Howerer,this IS genuine,in fact it was leaked with the HL2 Leak.Howerer,they were only source codes and higly incomplete.Team GabeN,howerer,compiled and fixed it so now we can play it.
