Seems like a much better idea that constantly trying to jam all the wires into the RJ45 and keep them there while crimping. However, I wonder if one can use a normal crimper (with open ended "jack") and then just chop the wires after... :-/ (You'd have to use the EZ-RJ45 plugs, of course).

I own this, and wired my whole house w/ it. It *is* a good product, but it took me a while to get really proficient at it. Two thumbs up.
