What's the duration of this contract? Nonetheless, it poses an extreme security risk for Canada, it's a violation of our sovereignty, it needs to be scrapped. NOW. Do we own the equipment? Can we 100% disengage the equipment from the current providers? Can we hand the infrastructure to a 100% CANADIAN security firm to maintain and monitor? Because of the Patriot Act and inception of the second version any american owned companies/websites that reaches out into foriegn countries can and most likely WILL be watched/recorded. I.E. Facebook in canada.. all information whether its personal, habitual, medical, annual events, etc.

I pray that nothing ever happens in Montreal, but if it were too, the cameras will not be working that day or the footage will not be released for some reason. Everyone knows this right?
