Hi, I have 900 watts of Halogen and Rigid LED's equal 20 amps of draw on my truck. Right now I have 200 watts per 30 amp/fuse relay running on 14 guage wire for power and ground. Would increasing that to 40 amp relays and say 6 gauge wire make my lights burn any brighter? I do not have a heat issue, I seem to be getting enough power but was hearing from someone that if I made the wire larger (or just cut the watts on the 14 gauge down to 100 watts each I suppose) that I would get more light.
Hi there, i would to hook up my lights to my high beams, and also to turn them on manually when i really need them. how do i make this type of connection? Hope you can answer my question thank you!
I seen you were waving the 3 fingers while you were next to those huge 24" rims, does that mean those rims are $3,000 each?? I couldn't figure out what you were lipping lol.
Could you do an episode on installing electric cutouts? It's simple enough for everyone to understand and it's something that'd help out a lot of people.

i put clearence lights on my f150 and wired them into parking light, do i need a relay?
spk9grsch 1 year ago
is there really that much load to add a relay?
01jordanfirst 1 year ago
@01jordanfirst Oh yes. If you don't add a relay you'll melt your wires.

@01jordanfirst
Or just run low gauge wires.

CuminStrokeMyDuramax 1 year ago
@CuminStrokeMyDuramax The black Chevy? It was here just for that episode with the BedTred.

@CuminStrokeMyDuramax No, the white one at the end of the video. Or was that someone else's ride?
CuminStrokeMyDuramax 1 year ago
@CuminStrokeMyDuramax That belongs to a friend of the show, but we haven't worked on that vehicle yet. It's so sweet!

@motorztv I bet it looked like a beast. You should ask him if you can work on it. Maybe paint it blue for your theme? lol

why is the relay used for the lights.
dipendraraikut 1 year ago
@dipendraraikut To reduce current draw through the switch. Most switches cannot handle the amount of current required and will melt or short.

@15naldo They vary, so the best thing to do is to call them or check with a retailer.
