It's a sad day in the music world when people are amazed by 1: a band that's really good live and 2: any bassist that doesn't just play root notes.

I'm not saying that the Chili Peppers or Flea aren't amazing,- imo they're the best modern band with the best modern musicians- it's just that music has gone so far down hill in the past 40 years, the bar has been set prettyy low.

The chili peppers are a band that would have been great 40 years ago anyways though

You know what, I was gonna mark this as spam, but first I checked out the band. They're OK.

Definitely worth a look, but they're really not anything like the Peppers. They're kinda a mix of 80's rock, early sabbath sounding metal, and punk rock.

I'm not saying they're great or anything, but at least give them a look.
