no, I think the recording could be better. keep playing, you'll get better especially with that pedal. you should try a peavey 3120 amp, it has better distortion built right into the amp if you can believe it.
You're kidding, right? That was some of the most awesomely awful playing in the history of mankind. It was so awful, it transcended petty discernments such as 'good' or 'bad' and evolved into a whole new realm that is made of pure awesome and win.
"Signature Tones" to me almost always means a pale imitation of the real thing. :D
I can guarantee if Adam D. played through, whatever he's playing through at the moment, and then through one of those pocket pod's, almost any idiot could tell the difference.
You guys are all right, but for 130$ the pocket Pod is fun and nobody can say otherwise. One can plug durect in or use headphones, it's not great but it's better than nothing.
I could, but it would sound no better than what you just heard. I have shit recording equipment as you can hear.
Any specific Fender model you tried it on? Metal guitar in general sounds like shit to my ears on 8" speakers, and the SM pedal is no exception. A good amp with 1 or more 12" speakers with the bass a decent way up really brings it out.
Do you mind making another video of this pedal? Somewhat heavier riffs? I tried it in the store and sounded nowhere near good as the stuff I hear on their website and youtube... I blame the Fender amp and the horrible small room they hooked me up.

i have this pedal and this demo does not do it justice at all, the DCSM can crank out some serious distortion...

Thanks to my shitty camera for that. :|

I'm actually not impressed with this pedal. I find that the line 6 uber metal pedal has better tone, control, and gain.
Nice GOP shirt btw!!!

I don't believe they use any distortion pedals.
