I suppose it's the sense of amateurism (no offence :P) that makes this one have the scarier climax. All that was needed was a bit of freaky makeup for the ending sequence and it could have been even better than the movie scene!

if you look at the terms of agreement on YouTube, you are not legally allowed to post footage that is not yours. If you cut it, at least you're making it somewhat different (which is still pretty lame). But something like a remake, doesn't use the original footage so it's completely legal.
