i do not see how anything is wrong with ur lyrics.. "wrench" is correct, even leann rimes pronounced it wrench
and " i was once lost but now i'm found" is CORRECT!!!
what kind of idiot would think it should be AM?? it's grammatically sooo wrong! n it's obvious she sang it I'm ... :S

@Anand7 i dont mean to be rude but if yu listen again she does say,"wretch" because that is how it is pronounced. trust me i have been singing this song since i was very little i promise you that is wretch.

I like her voice and I think she's a great singer but she exaggerates. Playing too much with the voice ruin a song. Especially a song like amazing grace, that _already is_ expressive.
