    Erm, okay.

  • emmmmmmmmmm

  • Thumbs up if you thought this was howcast.

  • if i dont add the flavoring (the syrup) is it bad??????(i didnt have any >_<)

  • @zharnotczar

    You don't brew espresso.

  • @snedie69er You caught my comment before it went away, but yes, brew is the commonly accepted term for the production of espresso. I saw you using pre ground beans and automatically assumed you knew nothing about espresso, so I posted away and that's how my comment came out. But yes, the production of coffee is generally referred to as brewing, whether or not it's faithful to the original definition.

  • @zharnotczar

Only reason I had pre-ground was because I was awaiting a new delivery of fresh roasted beans (realcoffee co uk), that stuff was the most expensive that Asda had in stock at the time, so I presumed it would produce the best taste to tide me over for a couple days....must admit, wasn't to shabby for a tinned coffee.

  • where di d u get t the blender

  • @123qweasdzxcist

Asda I believe. It isn't great at crushing ice so Frapps aren't as textured as a real one, but the more expensive the blender the better the frapp:

    Starbucks' use the Blendtec blenders.

  • Thanks for the video. I like how your pinky is up while you're preparing the expresso. So cute!

  • @leegnet

Such a bad habit :). Thanks for the comment ;)

  • whats the iron doing in your kitchen, is it for paninni perhaps?

  • @bardotino

I do the ironing in there :P

  • what if you dont have an expresso machine am i S,O,L

  • @MegaTrolleater

Just use instant coffee (or percolated, or French press'd), allow to cool and add instead of Espresso :)

  • OHH UR A MAN!

  • @snedie69er What kind of coffee maker & blender are you using?

  • @Cullen612

To be honest I'm not sure HAHA. They where both cheap brands from Argos iirc, the espresso machine was around £50 in a sale, the blender £20 i think.

    Sorry I can't be more helpful :)

  • Starbucks is the death of good coffee.

  • whats the music ? its beautiful

  • @kuletheman

I wish I knew myself, I selected it from the audio swap feature but YT hasn't included the song title. Sorry :)

  • @snedie69er no probs mate =D

  • @snedie69er you can search this songs title through winamp application :)

  • @alterbridgeindonesia

    Fancy doing it?

  • ?????¿¿7??(???????????

  • Hhmm. I suggest a tripod for the next shoot. Coffee looks good

  • So many kinds of coffee making. What is the most difficult? This Frappuccino seems more to involve many steps and tools.

  • @goosecouple

By far the hardest coffee I have tried to make is Turkish. It's a very. very dark coffee that is simmered in a small "pot" with very little water to make something similar to a liqueur. The hard part is not burning the coffee, something which happens in seconds, meaning experience is a real must (and as we all know, you only get that through trying).

Espresso from a machine is very easy today, but more traditional lever machines take more practice.

  • What is the name of the song in the beginning? It was very beautiful but I wish you had music playing through out the whole video.

  • dat ziet eruit als diaree

  • i swear starbucks frappuchinos dont have coffee in them...ive been drinking them for about 5 years and i was under the impression it was just blended cream and milk with a flavour added?

  • @likeastarbaby

There are three different types, coffee, cream and coffee+cream :)

  • how about u kill the music and tell us what the fuck your doing

  • @jaygorny I agree. I got notin of what was happening

  • Your shot expired while you got the ice. It takes 10 seconds for a shot to expire.

  • @FlutePlayer777

Tastes all the same when blended with sugary products, but yes it would have been a pretty bad thing to drink on it's own :)

  • @snedie69er true.

  • sembra merda

  • No milk?

  • gay song

  • i like the backround music (:

  • I actually have my own frappe recipe, and i have a camera, but, i am scared, because i dont use to make videos like this, and then upload them, but i can upload my recipe if you guys would like it.

    :-)

  • @pausithebest

Just do what I did, don't appear on camera and use captions instead :)

  • @snedie69er Thank You, i will, and i dont have the besta camera, but, i'll do my best..

    :-)

  • @pausithebest upload it and send me the link to ur video

i wanna try every recipe b/c i dont wanna spend $5 at starbucks when i can make it myself :)

  • @pausithebest yes! please(:

  • wow this coffee took like 5 mins lol do you have anything that is cheaper and contains less ingredients lol i'm broke ;)

  • @colorfulpride

Yer for sure, I started out with something like £5 in asda when I wanted to try make my first one.

Grab any instant coffee you like, then some sugar, milk/cream if you like a dairy base, and then some ice cream syrup. Should be able to grab most of that with the change on your desk and it will be a great way to make up a cheap fix and to simply experiment.

With instant coffee just remember to let it cool first, I forgot that part and ended up with a cup of luke warm slush haha

  • The music is beautiful but i need to see what the hell is going on

  • how can i get the coffee juice stuff that you do first if i dont have those machines

  • @sadushii

    Hi,

You can use any kind of coffee, instant, perculated, french press or espresso. The one in this video is espresso and in my opinion provides the strongest flavours to an frappaccino, but any kind of coffee will do. If you do use another kind you should put it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours (mix up a good litre so you have loads spare for more drinks) to allow it to cool, if not you'll just end up melting all your ice ;)

    Thanks for watching

  • @snedie69er Dude I love the fact that you have an Iron in your kitchen. lol

  • @sadushii Its not coffee juice. Its brewed coffee or brewed espresso. There is no such thing as coffee juice. That shot you saw there was hot. And you can brew any coffee for a frappuchino. Expresso is the best though.

  • amazing thanks for the help i made this this morning and it was amazing thank you

  • This musics's amazing!! Where did you get it from?

  • @XxXDanielDinosaurXxX

Was an AudioSwap that I picked at random, unfortunately the song information isn't attached to the video and I can't remember the artist or song name :)

  • @XxXDanielDinosaurXxX If you have a smartphone use the Shazam app

  • Too complicated

  • For the best frappuccino recipe and Panera Frozen Mocha and Caramel recipes, as well as your supplier of Mediterranean Blend Frozen Cappuccino Mix, visit frozencaramel

  • oh yeah.. this guy's the real deal.

  • YU-mmYYYY!

  • u dont wash your straw... some roaches might have been on that straw

  • ILLY IS FUCKING CHEAP?? Oh well for 3rd world economies..

  • @wearashirt

Yes because my purchasing of "Fair Trade" coffee's that are of porer standard than that used by the likes of Kenco is going to change the fascist dictatorships of African countries (For example).

Wow I suppose your posting that comment with a 1970's IBM mainframe donated to an African school during your break from treating children with AIDS.

Oh wait that's right, your living a comfortable life drinking Frapp's. Go fuck yourself buddy.

  • @wearashirt kkkk

  • 3-2-1... Aaaaaand your shot has expired.

  • dude you need to add 2-3 tablespoons of cornsyrup then a flavor syrup and no sugar,

  • @dragonphly01

Corn syrup, isn't that used like an emulsifier: To give volume an such.

I'll grab some off amazon and see how it goes, thanks for the tip

  • @snedie69er Question... so I have the espresso roast coffee, but do I specifically need an espresso machine like that to make a caramel frappuccino?

  • @Schzimmy213 Hi,

No you can just as easily use any form of coffee really. If your using instant allow it to cool first, same with French press and filter coffee too

The best way to discover a method you prefer is to do what I did, try them all :)

  • Sugar and syrup? Why?

  • @d245470k

Just for a little variation, I guess it's a matter of preference really :)

  • what if i dnt have that machine your using???

  • @ilozano2006

Easy way around it is to use a French Press (cafetiere) with ground beans (Can buy them at most stores), but allow the coffee to cool first if you make a lot or your ice will just melt and you'll have a very warm runny frapp :)

  • @TheCalicoTwo

I replaced the milk with an extra shot of espresso :)

  • Love the drink! :) I was just wondering - why on earth did you buy ice haha? :) Surely it's cheaper to make it at home?:)

  • @567Katii

But it sure is easier to buy 1KG of already cubed ice XD

  • @snedie69er Hahaha true, true :P And where in the uk do you buy cubed ice??? :P (I assume the UK since you wrote flavour with a 'u') And actually also - where do you buy Illy coffee?

Those were serious questions btw - I genuinely want to know haha!! :)

  • @567Katii

I certainly do live in the UK, and I can get both cubed ice an Illy coffee at Asda (Owned by WalMart).

I never quite like it though, it always tastes like it's at least a month old since grinding, but then again I haven't tried some recently so I might get another tin tonight...apparently it's the best stuff in Italy :)

  • @snedie69er :) Thanks! Oh really? Haha well if you haven't tried some recently.....and it tastes a month old.......hmmmm lol I wonder why? Hehehe

Yes you definitely should - ooh very fancy :P :)

  • sir how much is your espresso machine cause im trying to find a cheap espresso machine like the one you use :)

  • @aeroxtreme15

    Hey Aero,

My machine was only £35, but I have been trying to save up the money for a much better model (In the £200-300 range).

Although Illy is a well used brand (And not to bad tasting), I always found it to be quite poor when compared to a freshly ground coffee. However, if your just starting out with espresso it's an excellent place to start. :)

  • Do you know Illy caffè in Italy is the most expensive one ? :) - however i'll try this way of making a good frappuccino - thanks :)

  • Beat that lid!

  • were did u bought the chot the frist thing u put on the blender

  • i really like the music : )

  • @YAMiLiEBLiN

    Thanks :)

I like your Latte video, you seem like a very lively person ;)

What was the website for the flavourings? I'm using Monin (Thiks that's how it's spelled :/ - Costa Coffee use them ) flavourings and want to try something new.

  • Lol, giv' it that ol' Irish twist ey.

  • @fireman12888

:) I've been going for a Caribbean twist lately with some rum.

  • @snedie69er ?? Did you added rum in the blender? I am really interested in something like that especially with rum

  • @th3cr34tor

I didn't in this video but I do often add "Morgan's Spiced Rum" on occasion. :)

  • I can guarentee the recipe me and my friends made IS better, please check it out!

  • @LmOaVkE

Whipping Cream, I haven't tried that yet but i can imagine it to be quite nice. You girls should definitely try it with fresh ground coffee though, I guarantee it will taste much better than insta-mix :)

I might go get some cream now I quite fancy a Frapp. Thanks for the video ;)

  • @snedie69er haha okay, althought the insta-coffee we used was carmel flavored which is the whole idea we were getting for, but thank you so much for watching our video:)

  • Is the music really necessary?

  • @A380Munky

Was either this or the static made by the noise from my blender. I swapped it with some awesome Spanish music :)

  • @snedie69er I wanna know the music

  • @A380Munky yes it is

  • One problem I see...shots of espresso expire after about 10-ish seconds. Expired shots are quite a bit more bitter and burnt tasting. It is far better to pour the shots into something liquid, such as the milk, that way they are "saved" from expiring. And then you'll get the full flavor of the espresso!

Just a helpful tip from a current barista!

  • @TigerLily825

    Thanks for the tip :)

I put the ice, milk and flavouring into the blender first not and then add the shots in, achieving pretty much what you said. It does make quite a difference but that espresso machine in the video is awful and it's a matter of luck of the shots aren't burnt straight away :(.

  • Hey I didn't notice the name for this song but I'm sure its Evanescence, could you tell me the name please =D

  • @CookiesxGalore

    "Good Enough" :)

  • @luticia 2 people die every second.

  • lmfao i love this intense music

  • @luticia

Feel free to make your own video and choose some generic song by Rihanna or Tiesto.

  • @snedie69er or consider none of the above, seeing as how those are all awful....

  • @Sirdydimus

    ???

  • u left the shots in too long, they burned u fool!!!!!!

  • @LookItsJoshhh

Feel free to clarify your comment. If your talking about the extraction I always go by eye not by time. As soon as that blonding appears I cut the extraction.

If your talking about how long the shot was standing before been consumed, it makes no difference in an iced drink.

  • Search Frappe maker it will be the Mr. Coffee 2-OZ

  • ok thank you. I found a frappe machine on amazon(mr. coffee frappe). Got about 5 stars, I read reviews on it so imma get that. should i get frappe powder as well.

  • @nobleox66

Huh I wasn't aware that there was a Frapp machine...Any chance of a link please?

I knew they used a powder for consistency so I should think it would be useful to buy as well.

  • ok I am a little confused on what your suppose to use. Do you need a espresso machine to make frappuccino, or are you just using espresso for yours?

  • @nobleox66

    @nobleox66

The basics of a Fapp are Espresso, Ice and Flavouring. The blend of coffee used for the espresso shot makes a lot of difference to overall flavour, I suggest getting a Starbucks House Blend if your new to making Frapp's as it's easier to get the taste right.

Espresso machines are pretty cheap these days, the one in this video is only £50 and makes a half decent shot. Perfect for a beginner, like me when i got it.

You can also try freezing nescaf, and blending that.

  • i worked for starbucks a few months .. but they always said : expressos and frapuccinos have a life like 10 0r 15 seconds ..so in that period of time , they have to being use otherwise they taste bad or is not the same .. i that true?

  • @danielito23jax

It is for Espresso, but only if you actually use some decent beans and get a good extraction to begin with. If not it's going to taste bitter right off the bat. If you get a good extraction it shouldn't be bitter/sour but still remain really strong and leave a good smoky flavour in the mouth.

No offence, but I have yet to see either in Starbucks XD....But hey the Frappachino is still nice as hell.

  • HELPED SO MUCH!!!!!! THANKS!

  • 2 GIRLS 1 CUP OF COFFE

  • could you ever put ice cream in it and also i dont have and expresso maker put i have lots of coffes eg cappuchino mocha late caramel cappuchine could i just like make a cup of them and put inb

  • @hardcoretilidie1

Yer ice cream is a great way to add some unique flavours.

I started out by using normal coffee, all I did was make a cup and place it in the fridge. If you put it in hot all the ice melts and you end up with a rather, erm, unique mixture :)

You can also try freezing the coffee into cubes and then adding milk instead of water, even a little cream too. Many starbucks add cream into the mix to give it a thicker texture.

  • @snedie69er kk thanks but also my blender broke but could i use like a hand held one

  • @hardcoretilidie1

I would imagine it to be quite difficult, I should think smashing the ice cubes with a meat cleaver or something first to make them a bit smaller would help a lot.

  • could you ever put ice cream in it

  • I am looking for a video that shows me how to make a frappe using reg blended coffee.....any tips? Thanks in advance.

  • @jdani1025

Hey, you mean like granulated coffee such as Nescaffe?

If so it's quite easy, and how I started to try make Frapps at first. Two methods, make a jug of coffee and leave to cool, then place in fridge to cool even further. After that, simply follow the steps in this video using the cooled coffee instead of the espresso.

I also found that freeing the coffee also worked well and made for a more frapp style drink (Heavy consistancy).

  • would it taste different if it doesnt have any maple surup and coffee??

  • @Glamolivia

You can add litterally anything you like. I often add cinnamon, cocoa, or on occasion whisky.

If you like any flavour at all, just throw it on in the blender and try it out.

Also, it makes you look kool when you bring friends over :)

  • i wanna make a double choclatey chip frappucchino!

  • man your frcking rich

  • @mrstan382

Blender was £15 in Asda (Aka, walmart). That espresso machine is also only £50 on ebay.

In total, a month's worth of starbucks.

  • I noticed pretty large ice cube chunks when you pour out the drink at the end. I had the same problem and started making smaller ice cubes with small ice cube trays--it helps a good deal and blends quicker.

  • @rwgamer

Becuase I purchase my ice cubes I cant really make them smaller. I found that getting the correct ammount of liquid in the mix allows the blender to better smash the cubes without them been washed around with the liquids.

Adding more ice before pouring also helps to thicken the mixture, and only needs around 5 cubes or so to get it just right. Or just don't buy a £10 blender like I did XD

  • @snedie69er I used to crack the ice before blending the mixture by putting it into a rag and beating it with a matterello... I think it's easier to blend, this way!

  • @mvyper

Yer I tend to whack the bag of ice cubes in a pillow cases against the wall to try get the same affect.

I do want one of the BlendTech blenders though, they really make a job and half of ice cubes.

  • Great song, coffee not bad, crap 5 min video. Should be 45 secs max!!

  • @jasonvosper

The preparation of the Espresso shot and extraction is over a minute alone.....

  • lol this sounds like music you would find on 2 girls 1c

    But nice vid

  • i TOTALY agree with judyou .. even in egypt ova here .. they add tooo much ice instead of the other components to save sum cash xD .. it sucks .. i've tried doin it at home be4 .. but it neva turns out right xD

  • Mmmm.....bye bye Starbucks, especially as their coffee has got soooo watery lately!

Thanks a lot for that vid!

  • @judyou

I have refined the recipe a little since this video for an even better taste. I'll get around to making a new video soon, showing grinding of coffee and a better explanation of extracting the espresso (Im by far no expert). Oh and some new caramel flavouring I found at a wholesale retailer.

Your certainly right about starbucks too, I often take cofee back now and request for another cup.

  • NIce tutorial. May I ask what song this is?

  • @luongdung

    Hey,

The song is "Good Enough" by "Evanescence"

  • @snedie69er No seriously man, what's the name of this awesome piece?

  • @jokerlunatico

That's a good question haha. YT isn't showing it in the description and I can't remember the artist :(

Maybe one of those websites which identify songs can....

  • @snedie69er no the hell its not
