They don't look very black and white, the look more black and dark grey. Do the grey areas turn to white as the lemurs grow older or do they stay that colour throughout life?
No lemur parents dont carry them around like most other monkeys do. They leave them in a safe place while they are looking for food. They move them by picking them up in their mouths at this age.
