  • @flybird5

Really, you're the second person to say something like this...you've never seen the video for Thriller before? Or heard the song? Do you live under a rock?

  • @EnragedClementine Well of course I've heard this song, everyone has. But this is not at all like the rap we hear today.

  • Vincent Price = Epic Voice!

  • i love this song. Vincent Price did a good job his laugh was great

  • celticrise220, thanks for the correction! Lol

  • Hehehe...Vincent Price, man! That man was AWESOME!! Just enjoy having him say "the FUNGAL forty thOUSAND Yeeearrrrsss" LOL Brought back all the nights I would watch "Fall of The House of Usher" or "The Fly" or any of a number of Vincent Price movies surrounded by all the pillows I could find!! LOL LOVED IT!!!

  • @RosyAfterglow It's the FUNK of forty thousand years. Not Fungal. lol

  • that does not sound like rap

  • @geo58impala quite right, this has words in it, keeps time, and doesn't once mention bitches or gats.

  • @geo58impala

you've never seen the video for Thriller before? Or heard the song? Do you live under a rock?

  • EPIC

  • Vincent Price was an extremely intelligent and witty person. Versatile is the word. Very interesting video. I never expected it even existed. Thanks.

  • Shit scariest thing ever, This song literally started my fear of Michael Jackson, no jokes, I have had nightmares about him, me and my friends were having a scary movie marathon at halloween (none of us can handle scary stuff :P)

I was up for any movie, then my girlfriend took out a DVD of Michael Jacksons videos, Iooked and couldn't find Thriller so I was fine with it, then she pointed out Thriller and I lost it XD

this is sh*t scary... I'm too scared to take this off mute

  • how is this in any way of him rapping?

  • @xxxRENOTSxxx Technically, I guess he's reciting prose to a beat. In essence, that's what rap was.

  • @xxxRENOTSxxx yeah man exactly what i thought!!

  • @xxxRENOTSxxx poetry,rap)Rythym and Poetry

  • @xxxRENOTSxxx ,this is how he rap!you need to see his movie to see how he rap!

  • This music video started my fear of zombies...0_0'

  • Gotta love Vincent...amazing man!

  • @CharityBarnum Y'know, he should've played Darth Vader. If he did, my ultimate favorite villain would've sounded AWESOME!!!

  • Well, zombies can't open doors and they can barely walk, but man, they sure can DANCE!

  • Listen to how he pronounces "Crreatures" it's cool

  • Love when he says "the FUNK of forty thousand years".....:-)

  • Doesn't anyone else find it weird hearing Vincent Price say "Y'alls?"

  • @xkillergoldfishx He was from Missouri, so not really.

  • R.I.P. Michael Jackson.

    R.I.P. Vincent Price

  • @sweetheart2109 Vincent Price will live in everybody hearts

  • it was based on a true story

  • What story?......,if I can know,uh?

  • well i guess no one can stop the power of dance

  • Wow!!!!!! I never put this speech together with Vincent Price for some reason!!!!!

  • fuuuuuuuuuuuck!!!!!!!!!!!

i watched the whole fucking video waiting for that laughter maaan, thats wrong...

  • He sounds like Alan Rickman.

  • No Alan Rickman sounds like Vincent

  • @mymusicvideos1991 Vincent's voice is higher than Rickman's. If Rickman were to inhale a little helium, maybe.

  • @mymusicvideos1991 .. no he doesn't

  • @mymusicvideos1991 lmao no he doesn't

  • i love vincent price laugh

  • The interesting thing is that he was a nice, gentle man, nothing like the monsters he portrayed. He was an artist who much preferred painting over acting.

  • This is one of the greatest speeches of all time by Vincent Price.

  • His voice is so creepy perfect for this song

  • yeap,I think so,he was the best in his profession,I really think so.....

  • I watched this when I was about 12 and it scared the shit out of me!

  • I wish I had a voice like that

  • Who would have thought a bunch of dead people could have such great moves...

  • Vincent price <3

  • classic!

  • haunted not hunted

  • is vincent dead?

  • Yup. Died back in 1993, from lung cancer. He was a life-long smoker.

  • smoke is not cool

  • You got that right.

  • yea

  • yes he died in 1993 i believe - he was 91 i think...if i remember right michael jackson sued him over something on the video.

  • ....you can check his complete biografic in Wickipedia....

  • Both will rock... Forever.

  • 2 kings may rest in peace one scaterd over the pacific the other on a creeping hallowed hill..in the wind you just might hear his laugh hahahahahahahHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH HAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!

  • could somebody please upload the song entitle THE GHOST OF VINCENT PRICE BY FRIDAY 13th.. The lyrics are an homage of sorts to this GREAT THESPIAN. May Vincent and Michael both rest in peace..

  • When I was very young I loved mJ!! But I never knew who this guy was until now..but his voice was always so mysterious to me and I liked hearing it. Unique all in this song.

  • like michael jackson! vincent price was special

    and one of a kind!

  • Simply terrorific.

    R.I.P. Vincent Price & MJ

  • i love his voice, so cryptic.

  • Isn't this just Thriller? I mean the original one?

  • i loved his voice i remembered it from the 13 ghosts of scooby doo. a pity he died but he wouldn't have lived 4 so long anyway. R.I.P vincent and MJ

  • It's not a rap, it's more like a spoken poem.

  • oh course, but I don't think would have stood as well in marketing :P

thanks our decadent sociaty i guess xD

  • If this is rap, I rap everyday. I talk faster than this.

    Spoken poem - Yes.

    Rap - No.

  • @ComradeDragon

It has always been referred to as "Vincent Price's rap"

    ALWAYS.

It doesn't necessarily mean "rap music" --- a rap is a form of speech & talking, and was so long before hip hop.

To even bring this up during such an awesome song with two amazing performers (one singer, one actor) is ridiculous.

  • vincent price had an epic voice!

The first time I heard his voice was in Cathedral - Hopkins (witchfinder general), inspired by the movie Witchfinder General. After hearing it multiple times, I thought I would watch Witchfinder General, and so I did. Loved every bit of it!

  • so where is the rapping?

  • its the talking.

  • the lyrics rhyme and he uses slang like "y'all" "funk" "soul" "getting down" so its considered a rap, and it was considered a novel idea, horror icon Vincent Price rapping, imagine Christopher Lee on a P Diddy album

  • HAHAHAAHAHHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHA

I would buy that any day!

  • didnt he get killed on the set of the twilight zone in 83? if so how is he doing the voice?

  • No, Vic Morrow, the former star of the TV series, "Combat" was killed along with two children on "The Twilight Zone" set. John Landis was the director of that movie and this MJ video. Check John Landis and Vincent Price on Google for more information.

  • vincent price died of emphysema and parkinsons disease in 93.

  • he died in 1993

  • vincent price died of lung cancer in 93. :C

  • Thats Vic Morrow, him and two Vietmanese child actors were killed when a helicopter was flying too low and a pyro charge went off, it knocked it off balance and it crashed into the ground, decapitating one of the kids and crushing the other two

  • no vincent price

  • vincent is the the narrator

  • he rocks

  • r.i.p vincent price

  • vincent was always my favorite part about this song

  • Wow! I had no idea Vincent Price had anything to do with Michal Jackson!

  • Vincent Price kinda sounds like Illidan Stormrage

  • Vincent Price was a pimp! I wish I had a voice like his :P

  • Man, i cant imagine any1 doing the voiceover but it was rumor that it was supposed to be Orsen Wells at first but Price came in and jst killed It MJ stuck with him ! I love how he had the perfect voice for this R.I.P VP.

  • not sure about Orsen Wells- but Quincy Jones' (producer) wife was good friends with Vincent Price, and they asked him to do it, and he oblidged. Written by Rod Temperton the day Vincent arrived at the studio to lay it down.

  • i grew up on all his movies as a kid.

  • Comment removed

  • There will never be a more evil sounding voice than Vincent Price. Darth Vader doesn't touch him!

  • I am not a big Michale Jackson Fan. This is probably his one and only track that i like....the clincher for me is Vincent Price....He is Awesome. I remember watching the"Abominable Doctor Phibes" on late night tv when i was a young lad.....he left an indellible impression on my life! The Abominable Doctor Phibes is one of the best movies ever.

  • O Great King of Pop, have no fear: Zig-zag, your Grand Vizier, is here!

  • Love Vincent Price

  • This has got to be the best video ever.

  • Smart business decision on Prices' part; mixing with pop music. Though, he wasn't paid according to the sales of this record. But he increased his popularity and broadened his audience--he is immortal--lives on!
