this same video was presented on a humanistic curse (or course, dunno which is the correct one) we were talking about art and in deed, the music without instruments totally changes the perception of the images.
i think that is the reality of the world back in those days
This work is my own interpretation about Arbus photografs. It isn't an exhibition of her work. It's another thing. Music changes its meaning, of course.
I hope you will understand my words, my english is very poor.
first of all, listening to the very lame soundtrack would give anyone reason enough to kill themselves...whoever had the idea of adding music to the photos needs to find another career
the photographs stand on their own, the sound takes away the integrity of the photos
I think it's only a poor taste in the music added to the images. These pictures aren't upset or sad, it's just what she saw and photographed when she interacted with people during her photo explorations. Music with less of negative feel would have been better.
Ana, que bueno encontrarte! No hace falta entender nada; sus retratos de "freaks" son impactantes, si, y también, de algún modo, llenos de ternura. Te recomiendo la película "Fur", que es una suerte de biografía de Diane.

The music with the photos creates a new work . . . one that is stark and disturbing and fitting for Arbus.

Hello from Greece.
I hope you know that Xenakis was a Greek, engineer and musician. His music is based on mathematical relationships.

Gab, como siempre, yo a esta autora no la conocía. Algunas (si no todas, ya que yo no entiendo) de las imágenes me resultan geniales, qué impacto.
