I'm all for redoing ZG and ZA, since they were good raids, but there shouldn't be mounts. Nothing in this game is special anymore, and everything is eventually handed to you by Blizzard trying to make bad players feel like they're special so they keep paying.

I haven't done much of ZG back in the hay days, so my questions are: who were the old bosses? What did they do? What were their names, etc? And also, which ones have been brought back? What has changed about them? Who're the new bosses? What do they do?

The whole lore behind the old raid was pretty interesting, like the slew of animalistic bosses and such, so I'd really like it if a ZG veteran can shed some light on this place for me.

I think it' s great that Blizz remakes old stuff like this, ofc it should not go to excess but still.

I bet 70-80% of players never got to know these places and the different boss mechanics. I was facerolling this at lvl 80 for rep and had no clue about the actual mechanics. That's all I know of the place.

If Blizz remakes (and modernizes) something that noone, seriously noone, was seeing at the appropriate level or without higher level characters as backup, why is that bad?

Oh. Attempted the part with the mini tiki masks, and the "archeology" part didn't work for me, only spent about a min. there because of a naggy group... 525 archeology, clicking certain artifacts in a certain order causes them to "Float" around the middle of the area, didn't get to finish the event but it seemed interesting.

The "Ice" couldren allowed my group to 2-3 shot the boss next to it, is currently bugged, the begining gauntlet of poison stays, but you get the nature resist couldren after beating the miniboss, The few bosses I did were fairly easy with 346 geared tank, Very easy actually.

From what I understand about the Cache of Madness area, those artifacts you were clicking on actually require 450 Archaeology to use, which will summon those bosses that you were referring to. So get leveling people.

As one might notice many greater mobs/bosses have an exclamation mark besides their portrait. This is the UI-Indication that upon killing these mobs you will get a quest. I think this will add a lot of lore and explaining as you discover the dungeon.

the preistess fight works like this: you pretty much stay out of the fire and stuff, then at around 20% she will summon all the panthers to fight for her, making it harder..

I would assume you can do a daily heroic of these or a daily heroic of the others... expect you get 70 valor for the other heroics instead of 140, and I'd assume they are gonna make you choose which you do, you wont be able to get 210 valor a day.

ZG was "fun" for about 2 months at lvl 60... then it was just farmmode crap. so boring.. and best head enchants were there.. only reason why i ran it at all... NOT gonna look forward to this...if they really are gonna keep remaking old dungeons, thats a pretty good reason to try out something new again... like i did after the silly nax shit in early wotlk....
