This is the first time I've heard this lady, thanks to my daughter Claire, and Dee Dee's voice shouts "Ella Fitzgerald" at me - a combination of Ella, of all the great lady singers mentioned in your other comments, plus a Dinah Washington-style backing. Look up Dinah Washington, folks - she's was wonderful too...

Dee Dee brings it on. Her voice is so smoky and perfect for this song. A classical piece done by Julie London, Nancy Wilson, Sarah Vaughan. I saw her on PBS in a concert in Canada with Lalo Schifrin singing "The Shadow of your Smile" I was hooked.
