Das Scott Dixon nach Ihm schaut finde ich super. Das nenne ich freundschaft unter Rennkollegen. Scott check and helps Dario. That´s friendship under Racecardriver. Two of the best Racer´s in the world.
True racing fans like ALL racing.... the racing series favoritism is just for the bandwagoners. I like NASCAR, F1, Indycar, Trans Am, Lemanse, Aussie V8s, Drag Racing, Dirt Track Racing, Oval, Road Course, Rally... whatever... if you find yourself feeling the need to spend time of your life to make detrimental remarks about a racing series, no matter which one it is - I think that is good reason to question how much of a racing fan you really are. Enough said.
@erasetoimprove Well i can see where you were going with that. And i think it makes a lot of sense. But I know im a racing fan cause i wanna be a f1 driver when i grow up and I am already driving F2000 cars. But I don't like indy or rally that much...i think no matter what type of racing you like racing fans are racing fans..not bandwagoners.
Bummer they dont race there anymore esp since they brought the to indy cars series together bring back the michigan 500 and the race at cali and have the triple crown back but no dam nascar owns tracks screw them ....
@TiagoWakabayashi...the mark webber flip was WAY DIFFERENT!!! Hekki slowed down way too much and mark flipped. This crash was just a small little rub. and Mike conway was injured in a flip and mark wasn't... DUDE LISTEN IT ISNT SAFE
@NinjaGlider11 u can raise the safety, of anything it'll continue dangerous. If i said "wheel-with-wheel" is a normal things it doesn't mean this is not dangerous. And the retard is being you. I have an opinion, u have yours, but untill the moment i didn't need call you "retard" how u did to give your opinion about. Now don't piss me off.
@vilee453 F1 is the NASCAR of road racing, totally political and the winners are determined by the best cars not the best drivers. Not to mention there has been almost NO passing in F1 except on starts and restarts since the mid 90s. I loved F1 until the mid 90s, now a days NASCAR actually takes more effort to win a race in. I think Indycars are where the best racing is going to be in a few years. Right now there isn't much GOOD racing to be found anywhere in the world.
As a Scot and a massive fan of motorsport it's an absolute tragedy hardly anyone in Scotland knows Dario Franchitti or can even watch him race! I guess that's what happens when our media and television are controlled from London. Such a shame, he's a real hero! Hopfully his cousin will get a seat in F1's Virgin Racing team next year!!
Wait a minute, it doesn't make sence. If you look at the beginning they show the running order and Franchitti is running in second, which shows Him making a big mistake hitting Wheldon's left rear wheel causing the flip over. check it out, see what I mean.
The thing that MADE indy car (and I mean CART not this stuff) exciting was although F1 cars are much quicker (meaning turning speeds) indy cars were always faster in terms of top end speed only. If you went to an indy car (CART) race in the 90's even at the ovals the feeling when the cars came by was very exciting. I'll only watch the old stuff when it comes to ovals for the most part.
Amazing. I know there's such thing as a "beautiful crash" but this is a "nice" one. Don't get me wrong. I'm a F1 fan and I don't watch to see crashes. But this one shows that the energy has been killed "smoothly" because he didn't have hard impacts. OK Franchitti landed twice rather hard. But other than that it was pretty smooth even though it looks bad.
wow 4 all ur info the IRL has more road coarses than ovals on the schedule 4 next year, so shut the fuck up if u really have no idea wat ur talking about.
I'm a fan of all moto sport , F1, Nascar, Moto GP to name a few. I don't see the point when people compare them to each other, they all have there good points and bad points, just enjoy the sports for what they are!!!
@Avo1987 I give credit where credit is due, but indy isn't more tactical than F1 by any means... F1 drivers race at 220 + then have to deal with left AND right turns, as well as passes & overtakes in corners, turns, & straights. Especially now in the 2010 season with the new ban on refueling, teams and drivers have to be even more tactical in conserving fuel, brakes, tires, etc. So sorry man, your logic is flawed.
@Jordeleo wasnt saying F1 didnt require tactics and skills, far from it, the best drivers in the world race in F1, but i think you are wrong about the speeds, F1 cars barely touch 200mph now because of the safety rules in place. the Gs are indy and ovals like michigan are greater then anything in F1, both sets of drivers have to be at peak physical condition to even drive both of these cars too anything near their limits.
@coolcon96 i can see more tactical but skill, in f1 u need skill to take turns which is more how much strength you have, yes but indycar u need skill to not make 1 mistake or you'll end up like dario
@coolcon96 you do realise that they use street courses, road courses and ovals all in one series so the different disciplines all have to be mastered. the range of different courses and skill levels in indycars sets it apart from f1 and makes this series unique. its not right comparing f1 to indycars. its a different category but ultimatly i believe indycars needs more skill as the field is closer and its more driver related than car. i love both series equally but they are totally different.
@Avo1987 LOL! indy car is hard but nothing is harder for racing in this world than F1. F1 cars have 750-850 horsepower and are about 550 Kilo's when Indycars are much less powerful and are about 100-200 kilo's more, F1 much more skilled and more tactical than indy car.
u know in singapore 2008 Renault made Piquet crash to bring out SC for alonso to win so he'd get able to overtake massa. how the hell do u get more tactical than that? u dont even reply to comments cuz u cant back it up!
@Ferrari123planb thats cheating is what that is and u want a tactical moment like it nascar at richmond. paul manard crashes to bring out a yellow so that kevin harvick can get around the 24 of jeff gorden
ok... great. its not like anyone asked for your opinion. we'll keep watching nascar and indy and you can keep watching.... whatever it is that you watch.

It isnt Boring and is more tactical then F1 and any other road racing series.
