I hope your student wasn't too disappointed in himself or your teaching. Obviously the other fighter has experience and knew how to get a novice in an armbar. At least he kept it interesting for a few minutes.
I guess in pancration, there's no kicks to the head? So in the second fight, just his toe brushing his opponent's chin is considered a disqualification?
Is he gonna keep training? Notice in the first fight both guys have back tattoos.
he was disappointed naturally, but he did fine for only having done the classes for about a month at most. it was good experience for him.
last i heard, he was going to some mma school, but i havent talked to him for a while.
yea, theres no contact to the head in pancration, they really watch pancration tournements 'cause there used to be a lot of competitions using the pancration title, but they were all out full contact and people got hurt.
