If you've noticed the makers have a knack of letting you fight characters in a secret boss battle before the next game. For example. KHFM1 you fought Xemnas, KHFM2 you fought Terra, Now this person. If you've noticed he doesn't share any power of a heartless or nobody. Matter a fact he's 10x stronger than any. He even controls time. This is probably a new type of enemy set for KH3. His blade is symboled entirely different too.

The symbol on his blade, it is a symbol that we can sometime see on some Clocks.This boss surely represents an enemy that doesn't have his place in time and this is why he can manipulates it and travel through it. Maybe it will be a kind of enemy like ''Untimed''. Like nobodies they dot not truly exist because there aren't in time. Heart, body and Spirit. Heart for Heartless, Body for nobody, and the spirit is something that time can't change (Lingering sentiment of Vanitas and Terra are proof).

@axxuka So this why I Think that the future enemies that we will have to defeat are the ''Will'' of strong Hearted people, and Xehanort (Him ???) is the first of them. He lost his body and Spirit. Only his heart subsists in Terra, so his spirit is free for rampage and this is why he fights the trio there.

The game said it often over time : Heart, Body and Spirit, the three things that form someone.

@DurenceSoul looks can be deceiving. This is before the Organization and the cloak is not restricted to them as demonstrated by Riku, Mickey, and DiZ/Ansem. Xemnas' "blades" are actually just energy beams he projects from his hands, he doesn't actually "wield" them physically as the MF does. If, however, the MF is actually Xemnas then I'll admit I was wrong, but I highly doubt it.

@Rooney134 Birth by Sleep is not a filler, it's considered as KH0, and the next 3 KH games that are coming out are Re:Coded, Birth by Sleep Final Mix, and KH3D, then afte Final fantasy Versus 13 comes out its KH3.

But anyway, the trailers been on youtube. Coded is set after KH2, which I've mentioned before. Jiminy searches through his KH1 journal, and see's a note that says "free them from their torment". Not knowing what that means, he tells Mickey, so they scan the book, and there are virus's(cant remember name at the moment).

Since it seems like everyone is putting out their theories, I think it may be xemnas, granted he isn't in this time period, but if you think about the ending of coded, I won't spoil it, but sora has to do something that involves xemnas. On a side note, a lot of the abilities the organization had, xemnas was able to use in the final fights with him, one including power over time... going back in time to possibly change something seems like a possibility to me. Just my thought..

@717thgamer The cloak is not made specifically for the Organization, Mickey Riku, Ansem the Wise and even Jiminy's Journal when it got a special form in coded all used this coat, its simply a special coat used to make it easier to pass trough the corridors of darkness, note that this is 10 years before Organization XIII came to be.

The X shaped attack hints at Xehanort, Xemnas or Vanitas.

The weapons hint at Xemnas.

Still, the guy has nothing to say and doesn't seem to have any reason to be there. What's his deal? Is this fight canon anyway?

More than likely, considering both secret battles from final mix and + where canon.

As for dialogue, true, they could have said something, but for one reason or another they left it out. Although we do have an idea of who he is, more than likely its some form of xehanort/xemnas/ansem, remember that xemnas armor form was also able to use multiple members abilities.

@fruitytuttiluigi Yes I agree. I've played KH2FM and this boss looks like a combination of every Organization member. I'm pretty sure it's Xemnas or close to it considering he had a lot of back story that wasn't explained. "Room of Sleep" and "Room of Awakening" - Xigbar mentioned these in KH2, and I'm sure the fact that Ven was probably in the Room of Sleep and that Vanitas' Sentiment is also a boss makes Xemnas the likely culprit.

Im doing the game on Critical Mode, the way to win is....grind..dont belittle yourself to hacks....if the japanese are dedicated to beating Vanitas sentiment fairly why cant we do the same with our secret boss...are americans that bad at games

@ggracefulflower not all americans are bad at games. some americans were devoted enough to port the japanese copy and fight vanitas without cheats as videos on youtube would show. however I agree with you cheats totally take the fun out of the game (unless its to make things more challenging) but this boss is on a greater level than vanitas sentiment so in comparison this battle requires much more strategy than hacks
