  • 3 people have no taste in music at all

  • @redneckboy8679 Justin Beiber fan club? hehe....

  • What an amazing job you have done in combining great pictures with this awesome song! We have been blessed to have had, even briefly, such incomparable talented musicians in our lifetime! I am a die hard Bobby Darin fan but certainly appreciate all the magic that eminated from all these wonderfully gifted human beings! They brought such joy to us the grateful listeners and continue to do so all these years later!

  • John Phillips and Otis Redding... John was amazing... Otis had so much talent. Sad things happened how they did. Who is the artist at 3:10??? Can't think of his name.

  • @EndlessFilmLimited That's Carl Wilson of the Beach Boys

  • @pdl1944 Thanks Mate!!! Him and that famous 12 string!

    Amazing song, amazing vid.

  • Very cool, especially the way it was updated with pics of later artists.

  • This song was written by Alan O'Dea of Undercover Angel fame.He also wrote Angie baby for Helen Reddy and I touch myself for the DiVinils.

  • This was beautiful thank you so much for doing this! Apparently you and I have lots of the same favorites LOL!

  • @blueagate Glad you like it!

  • Very well done !!!!

  • Excellent!

  • Great song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • GREAT VIDEO!!!!! So many passed away from the RocknRoll era but they will never be forgoten rest in peace all of you.

  • Even author Steven King gave a shout-out to this song in a short story.

  • How sweet it is!

  • no johnny cash?

  • just a wonderful job pat...for those of you that complained because someone was omitted...try making your own video...you know what they say...you can please some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time...

  • @skontch1 Thank you! Any omissions are due to the performers just not being my favorites, or lack of space!

  • Nice! Glad to see Jerry Garcia and Dan Fogelberg in there.

Good video - lots of great memories... thanks!

  • @ansiblenetwork You're welcome. Glad you like it.:)

  • How very appropriate to end with Bobby Hatfield, now a Rock 'n Roll Heaven member himself.

  • I was watching a fantastic vid a Bruce Springsteen fan made for Bruce's song "Blood Brothers"it's a very moving tribute to the "Phantom" original E Street Band member "Danny Federici" who the world lost in April '08 who was not only the organ player but maybe rocks best accordian player.I thought about this song & how that great band now has a mean accordian to add to it's arsenal.

  • i seen buddy holly but no ritchie valens or the big bopper!

  • Oh my gosh I LOVE this - when my kids were younger they were in the back seat with their friend - they knew all the words to this song and emphaized on "HELL" of a band!

  • "If you believe in forever, that life is just a one night stand, if there's a rock and roll heaven, then Laurie's joined one hell of a band."

I saw these words on a gravestone at the local cemetery. R.I.P. Laurie

  • Great Video....but where is Ronnie VanZant and Duane Allman?

  • Thanks. I just included those who meant the most to me, but I'm sure someone else has made a vid with the two you're asking about!

  • love this song!

  • GREAT JOB!!!

I was looking for this song cause I have loved it forever and found this--AMAZING JOB!!The additions are great!!

  • 123CHEERGUH: Hi:) Same here. This song never gets old.

    jd

  • I love that you include as many stars as possible even though they weren't mentioned in this great song. 5 Stars!

This tune always brings a teary eye or two to this old gal. :)

  • To this ol' gal too, faeryquene! Each performer and song (from the 60s in my case) evokes such memories of a special, sweet era!.

  • @pdl1944 Don't forget the 50s. Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper and Ritchie Valens.

  • What Can I say..... Video Excellence

  • Wow...thank you!

  • No My Friend.....Thank-You NightBird..Toronto

  • Jeff Healey and SRV. It was off the hook, man! Played more like they were possessed by demons. "Went down to the crossroads..."

...but... I'm sure they are in Heaven!

  • Time to update this tribute.

  • uh uh uh - ok so i guess that makes you a fan wtg

  • that was a beautiful tribute. it should be nominated.

  • Wow, thank you for the lovely compliment. It was my first vid.

  • Bobby Hatfield - Cause of Death:

Drug overdose - So sad. He will be missed.

  • I had no idea that Bobby Hatfield had passed away. What a poignant way to end the video.

  • Your video brings back great memories. Thanks for using the original version of this song.
