She knew she had cancer before filming Series 5 but decided to carry on. It is said, she was unsure of her future so filmed alternative scenes... I hope they show the ones she has filmed and then for the final episode: it should be Sarah Jane's funeral... Maybe Luke, Clyde, Rani, Maria, Alan, Chrissie, Jo, Jo's Grandson, Doctor (4) and Doctor (10/11) should all be there??? Thoughts?? RIP Lis- you were so strong..,

Such a nice video! The end scene from Hand of Fear is so heartbreaking to watch.

Marvellous job & I certainly agree this would have been a better way to handle this pivotal moment - the reunion of two best friends after 30 odd years highlighted by the memories of how they parted! Beautifully done! I hate watching where Sarah leaves though! She tries to be calm but you can tell she is quite upset to be leaving her Dr! (She should have hid in his boot-cupboard!! LOL!! Some of you old fans should get that - if not revisit the Masque of Mandragora episode, i.e. the TARDIS tour!

Fantastic idea! I do have ONE request/crit, tho.

While dialog was used a lot in the Classic clips in teh first part, there was no dialog to be had in the New series clips. Only sound effects and music that clash quite badly with the soundtrack you chose to play with hte video. Maybe you could mute the New Who clips w/ no dialog?

There is some sort of program out there that allows you to d/l videos from youtube to your harddrive. people with ipod nanos, and iphones use it but I don't know what it's called off-hand. I recommend just doing a google search. TAYLACA! BRILLIANTLY DONE, THANK YOU FOR taking the time to make and upload/share this! Love your choice of sound tracks for it as well! VERY well done, taylaca. And you are so right, the flashback sequence would have been "spot on". Among all the Doctor's associates over the years, Sarah Jane stands out as very special, the Doctor's "Best Friend", and she truly does deserve the history lesson of a flashback.
