@Treeface40 I'll probably have to start from scratch, but that's okay, because I had better plans for FireRedX anyway. No worries, it's just going to take a while to redo.

@Treeface40 It should work on a Mac as long as you have the right rom and lips patch applier.

@Xero201 I thought I got rid of that script...I will check on it and fix it. As for the Mall, the 3rd floor was glitchy (fixed now), but I moved anything that you could get from it to other places in the Mall.

I'm unable to fly to vermilion and I can still board the S.S. Anne lol I don't know if this is suppose to happen or not

@sonicsnum1fan You should be able to fly to Vermillion. I will check on that, and the SS Anne script was only half complete when I released the Beta...would you be able to tell me how far into the game you are? Because I worked on that script so it will do different things at different points in the game.

sorry to hassle you again, but do i open the gba file of the firered that i patched it with? and if not then i dont know what to do

@6squirrels This is how you play:

1) Download the IPS and the LIPS program.

2) Patch the IPS file on top of the CLEAN FireRed ROM, using LIPS.

3) Open up your Emulator

4) Open up the GBA FireRed ROM

how can i open this with my emulator? i have vba and it says that it is an unsupported file type. help?

@6squirrels You need to patch it to a clean FireRed ROM.

@HackinJohn I did... and it still says that it's an ips and not a gba file.

@6squirrels After you patch it make sure you're trying to open the GBA file and not the IPS file in the Emulator. You might be trying to open the IPS by accident.

there's a spot in pewter city right before the next route where if you step on you're stuck but the music still plays, you can't go to the start screen, help screen, or use a selected item

@456wiigod654 Until you defeat the Elite 4, the game is almost the exact same except there are ALL Pokemon available.

@jviacone You need to patch it to a FireRed ROM. You can do this by going to whack-a-hack (google it) and downloading "Lips IPS" from the tool box.

@TJskilz Yes, I plan on fixing that so you get the National Dex whenever you get the regular Dex, but as for now, I'm just keeping it like it is.
