A lot of women suffer from depression and low self esteem. Since a lot of abortoins happen after the 9 week mark. They have 10 finger 10 toes and pain receptors. So get torn apart by a vaccu does'nt really feel like a massage or having forceps twist your arms and legs off hurts. press the issue! have you mentioned the fact that you dont want to pass those genes on? they might be able to do a tubal ligation. they are technically reversible later in life, but are highly effective. im personally pro-life but thats just the thing; i cant make any decisions for anybody. i wouldnt personally do it, and i wouldnt support anyone i know doing it, but to pass judgement and hatred is -not- the way to go about things.

Far be it for me to tell women what to do with their bods, but it looks like one group is making out the fetus is a person or personality that can be related to for value to them, it obviously cannot unless they want it.

Really, because I'm pretty sure that even if society was restructured, I still don't want children. Ever. There are too many risks with a hysterectomy and having your tubes tied fails sometimes, just as vasectomies can. I use birth control and when I am older I will have my tubes tied for good measure.
When I got pregnant, after all those precautions, I knew I did not want a child, and I didn't not want to go through a pregnancy. So I aborted it. and I have never regretted it.

Well, not completely. If she rapes him she is breaking the law just as if he had raped her. She would be held to the same rape laws as a man would. Now that would be if he would report it and it could be proven. And if she carried the baby to term and he had not reported the rape he would be liable for child support for the child for the next 19 years. So he wouldn't just walk away.

post partum life is not in the same position as pre viable life. if it can live on its own it is a seperate entity and can be awarded its own sovereinty. when it is parasitic in nature as an embryo is, it is not its own individual being but an extension of its host. the host owns anything inside its body and can do with it as it pleases.
