    You tell him Kevin!

  • WHAT A CUTE TEAM!!!

  • I bought the book (before I saw this video), and I love it!! theres all sorts of recipes for food's and products that you can make for yourself and your loved ones in there! It's great! I made a scrub from the book for my mother one day and she loved it! Its a great, easy to follow book and this is a great, easy to follow show! Keep it up guys!

  • I have been eating carrots all of my life like a rabbit and my eyes get worse not better, lol!! For this reason, I am a little skeptical about the benefits of this hybrid veggie.

  • COREY HART!

  • Swiss chard is great for the eyes; it has lutein and zeaxanthin. Way more than even carrots have!

  • @moonprincess3331: Thanks for the tip! I love chard (green, red and rainbow)!

  • OMG thank you so much for this video on the smoothie and the info on that website!!! I so needed it!

  • Widershins Blue berrys

  • Glasses DOES NOT mean you are healthy or unhealhy. Thats like saying, since someone is born blind then they may never be healthy, PLEASE!!!!!

Sometimes the retina gross faster than the rest of the eye and sometimes it may be a small retina which actually determins if you are near r far sighted. It all depends on how direct the light lands on the retina.

Short sightedness can be cured instantly with LASiK, but I know that whoever made that smart-ass comment will say it's "cheating".

    well FU!

  • So how are you guys getting power?

  • eye is an extension of the brain and not so much a distinct optic apparatus. Though good nutrition is important for the health of your eyes, i think managing and using our mind correctly is WAY more important to our vision.

  • zz top wrote that song... you guys are great !

  • good stuf dude y dudette

  • Love your in energy, intelligence and the fact that you often show that you have done the hard slogging work/ research/investigation to provide genuinely useful, helpful information. You guys rock!

  • LOVE YOUR SHOW YOU AND ANNMAIRE ARE GREAT;)

bilberry powder is also known to improve night vision. Also dandelion root. calendula flower wild ALL ARE WILD MADE BY MOTHER NATURE AND CONTAIN MORE THEN THE MAN MADE CARROT WHOSE WILD SISTER IS QUEEN ANN'S LACE

  • not rude at all :)

  • I was just speaking to a non-commerical nutritionist while standing in the natural foods store. They were saying how juice is not healthy for you. We need fiber. I agree with her. Cooking carrots and tomato brings out more of the nutrients. I eat tons of raw food and I also believe in other beliefs that warm or hot food can be healthy for other reason at times. I believe in eating mostly live raw foods though.

    Blueberries are one.

  • Dude! That was not rude! That was cool!

  • the best is to not use blenders at all. instead, use a juicer, but they are more expensive. It's a great invesment though because you will be retaining a lot more vitamins, minerals, enzymes, phytochemicals, oxygen, and hormones with a juicer. And, you never ever want to add water or any liquids to your drinks...never. Unfortunetly, with the blender they are using, and the water they mixed into the drink they are hardly getting anything out it, except wasting a lot of money on food.

  • does she have a sister that likes black guys?

  • your woman is hot

  • my boyfriend was born with glaucoma, do you think this would help him? Do you know any addtional natural health stuff that would? and where do you get that 'juicing' bag?

  • make him some pot cookies or sum marijuana extract that doesnt require smoking and hed be a million bucks.

  • leafy greens heal things*

sugars and fats run the body*

  • I like the vibe between these two...They're very entertaining and easy to watch...It must be cool to drive all over the country in an RV...I've learnt a lot from you guys...Thanks!!!

  • eye excercises can help as can nutrition. EFT also has been very successful for many. My husband did it and no longer needs glasses. NO SUCH THING AS INCURABLE

  • Blueberry!!

  • Carrot juice is excellent to fight against natural lens hardening. start early like in your twenties and stick with it.

  • Funny i really don't think you can make smoothie..

  • corry hart sang sunglasses at night

  • Good for you Kevin, people are unrealistic sometimes. I think you two are "perfect" the way you are! Love ya!

  • people dont care about macular degeneration, they just want a cure for their blurry eyesight !!

  • sweet potatoes and sweet potato fries

  • you guys are just waaaaay too adorable!

  • thanks for the recipe! goji berries are my #1 thing recommended for eye health...because they keep the eye/retinal area hydrated. drying eyes are one of the top reasons people have degeneration, so goji's are the best to prevent this...combine it with some bilberry, and you're set! :)

  • Probably not what you vegan types would prefer, but high quality cod liver oil, and raw egg smoothies from my uncaged backyard chickens.

Also, because I'm an accountant with my face in front of a computer 12 hours a day, I have a 100+ watt equivalent full spectrum light always on right next to my monitor. It takes some getting used to if you think your monitor should be brighter than the surroundings, but I think my vision is better for it. (33 and no glasses, but about 20/50 vision.)

  • 1) Schizandra berries or powder

    2) Sheperds purse, a herb

    3) Purple corn extract or flour

    4)Goji

    5) cayenne pepper

And yes I am the person who insulted him for wearing glasses, he will know my username.

  • That was not rude! He other guy was. You handled it well.

5 yrs ago a diabetic friend, with a glaucoma halo already, changed to Atkins type diet (lower on meats though), Eyebright Tincture 3x daily & Bilberry pills, drinks more water, all signs of glaucoma were gone less than 8 months.

He's 67 now, still taking all the same just in case. Going strong - still whips 35yr olds at serious-tennis. Amazing :)

  • Lol, what's with all these people recommending things like liver for eye health?!?! Anyone thinking animal products are good for you eyes should read "The China Study"... case closed.

Or check out The Blue Zones. The top 4 longest lived societies eat VERY little meat. One of them is vegan (Loma Linda California). Some eat meat once a week tops or even just once a year!

There may be some nutrients in animal products known to help eyes, but overall bodily degeneration from meat is not worth it.

  • eufrasia is the best.......well at least thats how i call it in spanish........but its really good.......

  • Liver, eggs, oats and blueberries.

  • I eat red palm oil as a vitamin E supplement.

It's supposed to also have more carotene than carots.

Some people can't properly convert carotene to vitamin A.

Eggyolk would be good for the eye's.

I use raw yolks in homemade mayonaise.

Liver contains vitamin A, that doesn't have to be converted like carotenoids.

I take cod liver oil, wich also contains EPA and DHA, Omega-3 fatty acids.

Some people can't properly convert the plant based Omega-3 Alpha Linoleic Acid to EPA and DHA.

  • EPA and DHA come from algae which the fish eat. You can get plenty of these fats from spirulina, chlorella, AFA and marine phytoplankton.

Vitamin A is found in many fruits and vegetables.

Animals get ALL of their nutrients from plants. The only nutrient found in animal products that aren't found in plants is CHOLESTEROL.

  • lol thats so dumb that the guy said u cant be healthy cause you were eye glasses.. lol this is like high school! i wear glasses too and i know im alot healthier than most people lol :D im not bragging hehe .. good video guys !:)

  • IT WAS NOT RUDE! :-) gooo get em kev

  • OH you guys have to get the juicer I have, it is super easy to clean and manual, it is the lexan manual health juicer and it does leafy greens and grasses! I have a couple juicing vids and you can see it in action if you are interested, just screw it onto the end of the counter and it's a cinch. Seriously.. Good good for the eyes, Elderberry, billberry, anything colorful has beta carotene in it and yes, being precursor to vit A, you need vit. D to help absorb, so cod liver oil.

  • LOL!!! You aren't healthy because you wear glasses!! Hehehe, too freaking funny. It's not rude, c'mon, people can be people!! :)

  • s/b ginseng and royal jelly

  • ginseng and bee pollen

  • thanks for sharing... anti-oxidants from any sources will help the eyes. Eliminate unnecessary stressors... Enjoy being in your love bubble wherever you are.

  • Eye health... "a good thing to bring some focus to" - I think it was an unintended little pun but kinda funny.

  • I was just reading an article on how pilots during wwII would eat blueberries to improve their night vision. Yum, yum.

  • Goji Berries have more beta carotene by volume than carrots PLUS they have zeaxanthin which is another more powerful carotenoid.

Eyebright is a western herb known to improve eyesight.

  • blueberries, bilberries, omega 3 fatty acids

  • corey heart....

  • Goji Berries!

  • i really enjoy your vids, guys!! You are just so funny and natural!! All the best your way!

  • carrots, sweet potatoes, kale, mangos, squash, apricots, turnip greens, spinach, cantaloupe, red bell peppers, and cod liver oil are all food for the eyes

  • Except that they are from animals... You get excessive cholesterol plus any toxins that that animal ingested (especially with organ meats like liver). The chance for food bourne illness is much much higher in animal products. Cooking these foods makes them even more carcinogenic then they already are (although you did mention raw eggs).

These are also highly acid forming, which is what the vast majority of us don't need.

  • You can eat liver raw, that way its better. I prefer lightly cooked but still pink inside (1-2 min per side).

  • Agreed, great for you in many respects.

  • The best thing I've researched is something called N acytel Carnosine eye drops. Might want to check out AOR's article on it. They found significant improvements in many aspects of eye health. If anyone is interested I can provide a link to the PDF new magazine article on it, which contains a whole load of published (peer reviewed) science articles on it.

  • Welcome to Colorado!

  • That sounds like a good book that i'll have to try and pick up.
