well easy to put it on install the cd and use usb cabel with cam and computer. but what i dont have is an edit program for traveler if it doesnt exist il probably kill my self
does anyone know where to download the drivers for the Traveler DV-5000, i lost the disc for it... :P I know the computer automatically installs it but i canot use as a webcam or anything, well thx anyway...
using total media extreem which should have come with it and render it through it and they are on your computer you can also upload it to youtube from the software
Just a wee tip on this: it is very easy to accidentally flip the macro switch near the lens - and then all your pics and videos are unsharp - unless you actually want close-up. Bad design.

i have this camera and its great...but you know how the video has pixels all over it? well when you put it on youtube it does that to all videos! unless its HD then thats different. the camera comes with its own software to! but my software does not work on my computer same with windows movie maker and suggestions? please reply a.s.a.p
Just for the record ... the DV-5000 DOES have 'anti shake' (at the expense of a small reduction in the picture size), but it is not switched on by default ... you have to navigate the menu's and switch it on yourself.

It has digital anti-shake but its not very effective. I've yet to test its low-light capability. There is a setting for night use.

People running Windows 2000 or '98 will have problems, so I'd think about upgrading to Vista or Windows 7. Mac works fine.
If you wanna export and email high quality HD vids (with max of 30sec length) to friends then tell them to install DIVX codec

you simple have to conect with the usb cable..... then it should be availalbe as a portable HDD
or you take the SD card out from it and put it in the sd card slot/reader of you pc
