Funny how Hollywood and fans of Roy Scheider remember him mostly as Martin Brody, the Chief of Amity in JAWS but yet he never receive ANY critical acclaim, awards or even nominations for that role. In 1979, the Motion Picture Academy did give him a best actor nomination for his lead role in the film ALL THAT JAZZ but he lost to Dustin Huffman.
