That's pretty much my setup, only my pot is an REI Ti Ware Teapot. I only heat water in mine, too, so food cleanup is pretty efficient. I didn't know there were overnight places in (I'm assuming) Las Padres. I'm new to SoCal and have been mostly in San Gorgonio.

Discard the gas stove! Make a homemade alcohol stove! more effecient, A LOT smaller! Weighs i think 5/10 grams

I have a bush buddy ultra and it won't fit in my MSr titan, any ideas on how to make something to protect the ultra but still put it in the bushbuddy ? need to make some kind of protective lid about 3 inches deep and diameter of titan.

i really dont want to buy a snow peak 900 just to fit in my bb

Dude be careful with most of these Isobutane stoves you aren't suppose to use windscreens, at least not the screw-attach type cause the canister can overheat. Anyhow yours may be different, but that's how my Pocket Rocket is.

Nice set up. Packs down nicely. I'm a big fan of the MSR Kettle.
