What was the original smith thinking?This setup is a disaster,I know your going to spend alot of time and effort correcting all these errors,if it were mine I'd be tempted to replace both.
Thanks Nosegunner. The reason I started doing them is that I see so many actions that people have installed a new barrel to and actually made things worse by removing bolt cam. I get allot of them to repair.

Well, they can be repaired and nothing is lost without alot of cost.

I'd "replace" the other gunsmith by smacking him over the head with that bolt.
