  • 1:57 = Final Fantasy music style, thank God for Japanese musicians ;)

  • i like japan keyboard commercial^^

  • They have now updated the USB-driver, after 10 months, 3 of which without a working driver. And the new driver, DOESNT resolve the problem! So even in spite of said update, we're still WAITING for a WORKING USB-driver!

I am absolutely in awe over a company thinking they can ignore supporting a basic feature of the things they sell. And meanwhile happily advertise said feature in the gear though it doesnt work...

  • @MarctheDarc I feel your pain but why on God's green earth would you keep something that doesn't work in the first place?

  • @tannazia It used to work. Untill they dediced to not support new OS-updates, and warn people too late (and since remove said warning again). So if i waste time formatting my HDD and return to an earlier version OSX, throwing away security and performance improvements, it'll work again. Still, i have a faint hope that they'll get their shit together when the time comes to sell new gear. And if not, i still have 1 1/2 year left where i can return it for full refund based on breach of sales agreem

  • @MarctheDarc Man, that's a situation no musician should ever face. I saw the Korg at the store lastnight and ALMOST bought it but something just didn't click for me. I went and bought the new Venom by M-Audio. Got it home and 20 min. later I was in the return line. I always knew m-audio was garbage but this was pretty bad. Not only do they say it's a Virtual Synthesizer, if you want to use it as a VST in your DAW, you have to pay for it. Say what? :)

  • @tannazia Yeah, the Venom is far too tied to a computer. It's a trend i could be without. It's fair enough that they add it as an extra feature, but being unable to do a full edit without a computer is just BS.

If you're in the market for a synth, i could highly recommend the Roland Gaia SH-01 or Novation Ultranova. Both have full editing onboard, and pretty good interfaces, they also gain from being connected to a computer, and imho they sound the best in their range...

  • @MarctheDarc It's funny you mentioned the Gaia, I saw that too but the store was short-staffed and couldn't figure out where the box went to. As for the Novation, I saw video demos as well and both devices sound great in their own rights. I am totally with you on keyboards connected to PC's. Seems like everyone wants to be like Justin Beiber *shivers*. But it's really hard in the end, escpecially when I've own Korgs and Rolands in the past to put up with MADE in CHINA plastic crap ;)

  • @tannazia You just HAD to mention him? Now i'll have nightmares all night long...

I know the modern plastic enclosures are a farcry from the metal/wood of higher class synths of today and old alike. But i actually think many of them seem fairly built in their own right. Again i'd highlight the Gaia as actually appearing quite robust. Also the Microsampler, which is the source of my problems with Korg, is actually really well built and a great sampler- design and feature wise. Damn USB-drivers!

  • @MarctheDarc Yes, the Korg is a nice Keyboard indeed. Hope the drivers come sooner than the inspiration dies off my friend. I use the Beiber tactic to ensure I am talking to a real musician, lol. Take care friend!

  • Maria Ozawa? Is that you? dang.. I'm seeing her everywhere.

  • This is way better produced than the american introduction video! FTW!!!

  • すてきなものですよ。

    きれいな女の子xD

    いい音です。

show i buy one of this?

  • Does the PS60 have a Multi Mode like the Korg X50, the korg x50 can be played from your external sequencer as a 16-part multi-timbral sound module. Can this be done with the PS60 as well?

  • i want to buy it but i don't know it's functions

  • @Ye1LOVE Check out the user manual on korgs home page

  • Che cagata!

  • Excuse-me Korg, but the video's impressive and very good but it will be better if it has subtitle in english.

I know that videos are to the japanese musicians but it's very interesting for ocidental musicans too.
