  • I have a problem, I always end up running out of energy (glucose, creatin, however you might call it) before actually feeling pain or challenging effort, so my muscles just stops responding to my brain even though I still want to keep performing that exercise :S

  • I push myself to the max, however, eventually every person reaches a max amount of weight that one can push. I have certain lifts that I just cant go heavier. What do I do now?

  • Get on the juice futureboy3009 :P

  • @futureboy3009 train with a friend, find a training partner.

on lifts like DB bench, BB bench, incline bench, squats, deep squats, front squats w.e, do a thing called forced reps.

basically, say your 3 rep max on bench is 100, up it to 120, and gain help from your spotter on each rep, then after the forced rep set drop the weight a little to around 110 then try and lift it on your own, if you struggle the spotter should be there to help and give you another few reps. it tkes time, but works.

  • training to failure slows recovery time

  • Mhm I'll try that method because I have been noticing that I've been doing bench all so "lightly" but I believe that I can go heavier....that's my challenge, thanks !

  • Thanks for all these videos. You're a gift to the collective bodybuilding web-pedia.

1'm now looking forward to my 2nd growth spurt.
